To restore the color of ABS plastic that has yellowed over time, you have to place it in a solution of hydrogen peroxide and oxiclean under the sun or UV light for a couple of hours. I have tried this with a handful of old white yellowed lego bricks and it worked. I used 9% hydrogen peroxide (50ml) with a table spoon of oxiclean (this only made a small amount, enough for a couple bricks to soak in the solution for 5 hours under the sun). Don't use bleach it makes the bricks brittle and they will break. I started off taking my minifigs apart and sorting them by; heads, legs, torso, headgear etc. Then a year ago I had the urge to build them all back together as they originally came from TLG (with accessories) using all my set instructions. I placed each individual figure into a small zip-lock bag, which all go in one big box. At the moment I have most of them in their original form and some sorted into their parts so I can customize whenever I need to. As for the collectable minifigures, I keep them on their stands, those I will not mix (at least for now). Currently I am considering if I should take them apart again, as I can’t seem to make up my mind. -TopHat

Bricklink is the most common used site. I know of another site called FindMyBrick , which you could look at (although I have never actually ordered anything from them). -TopHat

My wallet does not allow for 2 of the same set. Although I do make the exception if it is a set I really really like, there are good parts or it is something very exclusive. -TopHat

My very first contest entry, so here goes: Minifig: Fisherman Theme: City Fishing in the city is not much fun with all the pollution There is some overhang from the fishing rod and the lamppost, which fall within the 2 stud prescribed limit.
