  2. Learning even more. Working on uploading first MOC.

  3. The level of intrigue and excitement being generated in this forum for sets that are clearly not geared towards our demographic (afol) is interesting. I'm as excited as the next brick and can't wait to see these on store shelves. We've all discussed, considered, and made our own decisions about how straightforward we are or aren't when purchasing Lego from a brick and mortar store. I usually don't bat an eye, personally. But I do start to feel a bit uncomfortable when the same employee has walked by six times while I've been feeling up Collectible Minifig bags :). How is it gonna look bringing up a bunch of Friends sets to the register as a lone male adult? I may have to bring my wife along ;) Hell, she'll probably want some for herself, anyway.
  4. This is a great MOC. I was so surprised when the walls came off with the roof. It's such a simple idea, and yet I haven't seen it done before. It really adds to the playability, and 'show-off-ability' of the pizza shop. The soda cooler is another stand-out of the build. I really dig that. I would love to see some added detail to the exterior, but my guess would be that you modeled this after a real building (the one you started work in) that probably doesn't really ooze with the intricacies. :) Good stuff!
  5. Well I'm all for it. The pretty pink colors aren't making my eyes bleed all THAT much. Let's just keep the new style. Wink wink, nudge nudge.
  6. This is rad! The splashes of color in the walls and floor are really cool. How do you get those cheese slopes to stay put?? Also, I absolutely love the dwarven statue holding the hammer. That is something I never would have thought of, yet it is exactly the type of thing that belongs there. I also like that you took the time to create a storyline. Very fun. :)
  7. Nice! With the attention to detail you've used I could stare at this MOC for hours and keep finding new things to be excited about. I can't imagine the patience you must have. I would have called this work done ages ago and been happy with it. But you went the extra mile and it shows.
  8. Wow! This is really superb. I, too, was feeling the urge to create a decent keep for the Dragon Knights. Looks like anything I tried to build now would just pale in comparison to what you've already done. :) So many great things going on in this MOC: moat, foliage, collected gear from "the good guys", ale house, cobblestones, wizard tower...the list goes on and on. I especially like that you used a little bit of the color scheme, building style, and techniques from sets like Medieval Market Village. It seems like an homage to current Kingdoms/Castle sets (this is a great idea since it ties the MOC in with the rest of them). It makes me wish this set was available for purchase :) Great work!
  9. I've only made a handful of small MOC's, and I've never taken part in a contest on EB. However, this has got my interest piqued and my creative juices flowin'. I may just enter this contest. Thank you to the EB staff for an amazing contest with very exciting prizes!
  10. I would say that a cross-theme battle seems very plausible. Underwater Pharaoh's. Desert Atlantis. But Skellie, where do you belong? Perhaps from Ninjago? So Underwater Ninja Pharaohs and The Saharan Lost City of Ninja-Plagued Atlantis.
  11. I absolutely love the fact that someone else remembers this show! Good luck, that is going to me so much gold you might go blind :) If I think of any minifig ideas I'll post them here.
