I just came back from Lego store @ King of Prussia, PA. Most of the lego city boxes are much smaller than it used to be. I like it, it make it much easier to store those boxes.

If you go to maryland, definitely go to the Delaware store for the tax saving.

Just go to lego store near ny, there's not much different between each lego store anyway. There's no sales tax in Delaware

I'm here because of my son. He likes train a lot. I'm not interested to collect thomas the train and I found that lego has a new train. I got him the 7939 cargo train and some city sets. I like it too and start collecting them. I got the 7898 cargo train, both recent train station 7997 n 7937. I'm looking to add 7938 passenger train, Emerald night, maersk train and the new cargo train.

Well, I got lots of AAA rechargeable batteries lying around. I can't justify the price for the battery box. I don't like the down time wait to recharge it.

Why? Isn't it better to get the 7939 first because it's going to be discontinued soon instead of getting the new maersk train which at least got 1-2 years shelf life?

Fishing boat looks ok and priced reasonably. I'll pick that one. Probably the cheap speed boat too. I don't like the marina and the speedboat transporter. I'm torn with the harbor, I prefer the old one but I missed it. I'll pick the new harbor eventually, waiting for the sale though. I prefer to get the maersk boat first.

Lego city and train I'm starting lego because of my 5 yo son. He loves trains so instead of getting him thomas train set, I get him lego train instead. It's also great that we can build things together. Due to lack of funds, I tried to keep it on City theme. Other theme I'm interested are the modular building, the pirate and upcoming Pirate of the Carribeans set. Not really interested with Starwars or other sets.

Hi guys, sorry if I hijack the threads. I just found this forum and I'm interested with lego train. Well, it's more like my 5 yo son drag me to get lego. The last 3 months has done quite a damage to my wallet :p. So far, for the train set, I've got 7936, 7937, 7939. I also bought 7898 and 7997 on ebay. Love the lego, but not the price I paid for :p. I'm planning to get 7938 (Passenger train) 10194 (Emerald night) 4841 (Hogwart express) 7597 (Toy story train) and the new maersk train. I tried to get some breathing room here. In your experience which set will be discontinued soon. In what order should I buy them? I hope to buy them within the next 2 years.
