  1. There is this earlier version of it on Rebrickable.
  2. Hey, I've added HOG steering and tail lights to "CaDA C61016 Porsche 919 Hybrid Sports-Car", if anyone's interested.
  3. My "Pimp My Pimped McLaren" mods have been published on Rebrickable.
  4. Presenting a sneak peak of one of my pimp my pimped McLaren mods. Headlights, doors cosmetic, doors functional, rear mesh, gearbox and shifting improvements. I'll put some instructions together and put on Rebrickable.
  5. Maybe something like shown here (except with pneumatics instead of hydraulics):
  6. Hey, that's so amazing. Thanks for the link. But that uses position-triggered valves to control the height, and as awesome as that is, it's not what I was thinking about. I was thinking about directly cross-connecting the cylinders similar to: Just wondering whether it would be worth exploring.
  7. Has anyone experimented with FRIC pneumatic suspension? Cross-connecting front and rear cylinders to help control a car's pitch angle? Just wondering whether it would be worth experimenting with?
  8. Could you share a list of all the components you used? Thanks!
  9. I made a bunch of mods and it works much better now.
  10. The paddle shifting assembly works perfectly on its own (disconnected from anything else) and I successfully tested the gearbox on its own before. So the problem must be with the chunky CV joints.
  11. Yes, I have the same problem. I got to the point of starting to build the seats, but the paddle shifter doesn't work at all. It doesn't even come close to working. I'm going to have to start disassembling and troubleshooting. I'm pretty sure I've followed the "pimped" instructions correctly.
  12. Actually I was referring to the drive axles with the torque limiter that's at an angle.
  13. Hey, brilliant mods, thanks! I have a solution for the axles and u-joints fitting together properly under the gearbox, if anyone's interested.
  14. Hey, I bought the RC instructions from Bruno, bought the set from Mould King, bought the balance of the parts, and am comparing the two instructions as I build. Now I have a strange problem with the driving mechanism. I'm referencing page 134 of Bruno's RC instructions. I've removed the tan double bevel gear at the back of the car (for troubleshooting purposes). When I power the large purple motors (only), the wheel hubs spin, the small black double bevel gear at the back spins, the engine doesn't turn, and the axle that had the tan gear also does not turn. So far so good. But if I put the tan double bevel gear back on, the large purple motors spin against the stationary dark violet medium motors, and movement soon stops. It gets weirder. When I power the medium dark violet motors (only), the two axles sticking out the back spin IN THE SAME DIRECTION - meaning that the tan and black double bevel gears seize against each other. If I run it without either one of these gears, the wheel hubs and engine both turn, and the two double bevel gears seem to be redundant. I've triple checked everything and even totally rebuilt the rear section surrounding the rear differential. But I can't figure it out. Can anyone help? Thanks!
