Lord Lego

Well, today I got the Lego I ordered, a box of 1 000 basic pieces. Sadly I didn't get much time to build stuff, so I did the next best thing: Fiddled about with the Lego Digital Designer software and came up with this ship. I really need to practice making ships, and I'm feeling that I am actually getting a bit better, and I'm rather proud of this ship. I still find it really hard to come up with concepts so more often then not I get something nifty by accident. So, criticism, both positive and negative are welcome, aswell on general tips on what to think about when designing, how do you guys plan your designs? Basically, it's just a delivery ship. (Yeah, the back door is rather ugly, tips on designing doors/hatches too would be great)

Yeah, I ran out of Lego pieces so I couldn't make it the way I originaly wanted to. But I'll get a fresh batch in a few days and I'll make some improvements then =)

I can't really compete with you people here who create really awesome things, but I'd still like to share my creations, and I'm starting with my latest: The space ambulance. It started out as a quite big spaceship, but I ran out of parts about halfway so I had to scrap the idea and went with this one instead.

Just curious on how many really plays with Lego, not just builds, but play around having silly adventures and such? =) I know I do. "Raises a hand"

Hello everyone! I'm a 24 year old male from Sweden who's just gotten back into Lego again after a 10 year break and looking to make friends with other Lego maniacs =D I mostly build space things, spaceships, bases, robots and such. I'm a bit of a sci-fi nut. XD Not sure what else to put in, just ask if you want to know something =)
