Hi all, I think I posted this on the wrong section before so re-posting here instead... I'm completely new to this so sorry if I come across as stupid! I'm making a project right now using a microcontroller and want to construct it using Technics. The system is called a Taut Wire and it is used on ships for position reference. Then a potentiometer will measure the angle in the X axis and one for the Y axis and through trig I can work out the position of the weight or ship. The crane/davit needs to be able to move only in the X and Y axis as shown in the diagram. Could someone tell me if this is possible to make with Technics and if so what parts I should buy? Thanks!
