  1. I couldn't resist buying the new Assembly Square!
  2. Lots of work to do

  3. I get more excited when I get a bulk of random legos more than a new set. Just the joy of not knowing what you're gonna get. It's like digging in a gold mine.
  4. I think I saw them in the toy store when they were firat available here. I bought my first set then and it was the Country Club Paradisa which I still have. https://goo.gl/images/86rVa9
  5. Thank you for your welcoming. hadidi1999 Yeah I've never met anyone from here or any Arab country. It's nice though to see Lego fans from everywhere. I'm pretty sure there are people everywhere but probably are just viewing or hidding somewhere. Are you as well from SA? And I'm not sure what you meant by set up notifications. Faladrin That's a good idea. I have a bunch of ship parts and such. I'll have to think about it. Going to check some of the builds as well thanks. I love post-apocalyptic everything, so I want it to be my theme.

  13. wow looks amazing. Thanks for sharing
  14. I think it depends on your own budget. I mean how much you have and how much you can afford to spend. I also spend a lot of money on the sets I wanted. I think it also depends on what you want to do or buy. Some people buy sets to create their own sets, others buy certain themes because they love collecting. Decide what you want and allow yourself to get something if you really really want it and it's actually worth it. For me I rather buy huge sets than small ones unless it is a special one like the ideas ones or something like that. It is a challenge to manage a budget weather it is for legos or any other hobby.
  15. If I were you I'd get the MetalBeard's Sea Cow ship or The Brick Bounty since the older models are pretty expensive
  16. I mostly keep it a secret being an afol. People would judge so why bother share that info with them? I mostly buy sets online but when i go they tend to ask me what's the age of the kid I'm buying this for, I get so tempted to tell them "It's for me" just to see their reaction! lol
  17. Awesome. I love going through boxes and sorting pieces out. It's fun. I usually find a lot of cool stuff in there. I used see through containers and big plastic drawers.
  18. Hi, I've been looking for afol websites and groups then i came across this website. Here's a bit about myself: Female from Saudi Arabia, in my late 20s . Loved Legos since I was a kid but then I stopped seeing them in stores here. Later on when I was able to order online I started my collection (a small one) . I mainly love huge sets. I love ships , buildings. I also love everything Lego. I have boxes, keychains, pens... etc My next plane is to build my own creation. I have a bunch of ideas not sure which one I'm going to do. I have not yet met anyone from here who is an afol and hopefully I'll meet some nice people here from all over the world. Thanks,
