story behind << haha, not really, at the beginning, I just thinking that, build a earth globe is a milestone of a creator. however, my dad was pass away after I built it but not perform yet. I really want to show him this creation actually . so I wish this is a gift to him... Thank you and here is the album on my FB page

Thanks ALL When I design how to build it, I made two half of big sphere and then do mosaic on it to avoid building the sphere and the world map at the same time, because that would unable to undo any mistake. And Legogal correct, it is weight a ton, so it must separate upper and lower halves to transport. It is at our workshop now, and it may show again at HK Ani-Comic-Game show at summer

The creation costing me 52 man hrs to build. I guess the core using around 45,000 bricks, but the skin was unable to count, since too many plates used. Goto the album on Facbook

Got a change to build a Racecourse Parade Ring in 20 days, but it will displayed in a Jockey Club's event, so I accepted it。Because lack of time to bricklink, I decided to use 1x3 plate to resolve most problem, because this is what I have in big amount and in white color。 By the way, the result was not bad, as a creator, the most happness time is see those visitors is happy with your creation. Thanks! Thanks! Thanks! For the lighting, I am worrying there may be over heat when 3 1M LED tape just installed in a around 10x10 space at the beginning, but thanks to the air con. there, it is fine for running over 20 days until now. Because when I was doing testing in workshop, there is some strange plastic smell coming out

Thanks ! ;) Thanks! Thanks!, and I think light Fx add value to lego building same as building in our real life Thanks! I think techniques sharing are as important as creation sharing, right?

Haha, I never been there. so I use google earth for reference, it help a lot Thanks, by this project I discovered some techniques of hexagon, E.g 4-studs-side hexagon will fit into 5-studs-side hexagon lighting effect < Thanks, it containing 3 1 meter long LED tape, and the curves I rebuilt 3 times :P and I have to make a draft in gird paper finally Thanks ;)

Thanks! It took me a month to build it(build after work:P),i think around 30 hrs., I really doesn't counted how many bricks I use, I guess maybe 2k ~ 3k. Some secret, I am not planned to built the Rogers Centre (SkyDome) at the beginning, but I saw all photos and model they appear together, so, well, I think have to do it :P out of proportion < Yes, I am planned to build it in 165cm +-10cm. but if I made the deck small, it not round enough and just not eyes candy, so I made this conceptual proportion :P
