Athos said......I'm not sure if the foilage fits with the underwater scene, but I imagine you used what you had available. - yah pretty much
oo7 said......I would like to know it there is any reasoning behind the jagged edges of the cut out. It also does look like the ship parts were just "thrown togther", is this the case, or are they secured to the baseplate?
- I wanted it to have a cut away look, like as if we cut in to the sea to see in it.no they were all secured to the base plate
Mister Phes said.......Although it does remind me of a recent vignette by Athos where he depicts Moses departing the ocean. - i would love to see that can you link me?
Mr Tiber said.......Although, If I may be so nitpicky, how come the mast is still standing? The shroud is not really a good support, is it? - actually it wasnt supposed to look like it was holding it up, but i guess it sure looks that way :-/ , it is actually leaning firm by a hinge under the mast. i did this to give it more of a "wreckage" look.
phred said......Do you have a pic of the ship before it sank? no but you can see it sinking here. well i made it first, so the details are the same but you get the picture X-D
Mister Phes said.......Given that the sharks have a small stud on their underside would it be possible to connect a shark to these from beneth, rather than having them bite on to the rod? - actually it is connected to the bottom, there are a few pictures were you can see that.
thank-you to everyone who took the time to ask questions and leave comments. It was alot of fun to build, and I suggest somebody with more talent take a stab at it( no pun intended) and do the idea more justice. *sweet*
