I realize this is a super old thread, but maybe this will help someone. I found the original design by conv-isogawa and was dissapointed that the link to the instructions no longer worked. Then I found this thread, which was very promising, but for whatever reason none of the shared links worked for me either. After spending time reverse engineering most of the model from watching the videos I realized that amadeup had already done the same and posted slightly modified instructions on Rebrickable. And here is another one.

But I'm using this to build things I want to order brick link parts for. The color codes don't match. All the basic colors on brick link have the basic names and #s less than 20...

I want to build something in LDD with the most basic colors possible. Where are Green, Blue, Yellow, Red, White, etc....? How do I get to just plain old Green? Not interested in Earth Green, or Sand Green, or Dark Green, or Bright Green, or Bright Yellowish Martian Grass Green, or Spring Has Arrived Yellowishly In The Forest Green.....
