Hehe.. well, I didn't want TLG to produce sets based on that ride, I just said that if they should use rides that would be the way to go... a town sub-theme anybody? ;)
-
Well, I for one think that in the very unlikely event that LEGO would base something on a ride it would be on the awesome Pirate ride at LEGOland Billund... you should go there, Norrington :-$

I think my view of this ship is coloured by the fact that it was my first... Ah.. the nostalgia... *sweet* Not something I think I'd buy now... but it's still kinda neat and cute.

Purty! I really like how you made it wider than the usual hullpieces without making it look silly. The sterncastle looks really good, both on the inside and outside, and the tiny cannons on the upper deck (is that the appropriate term...?) is a nice touch, I

That pic is just so unsettling... Oh, and nice use of the stickers!

Haha.. awesome! :D Maedhros, who didn

Very nice, the window on the sterncastle (?) has to be my favourite part. And I think I have mentioned it some five times earlier but I love that cannon design :-$ I

Blinkin assignments...? :S And to make this clear about the purple-blue combo. It isn't supposed to look good so I

That's where libraries enter the story.... :-$

Well... I have an illustrated short story here: Click me! And an unfinished and unillustrated much longer story here: Click me! (again) And a development thread of sorts: Click me! (yet again!) A lot of that is outdated though, developments in culture, story and before all language has happened a lot of times... A few examples: Old New Gorthein - Godhrik Brechtel - Breastal Brystei - Brestey Lataria - Acc(h)ia Saes - Steodians Hengist - Anchrist Mwrgyaen - Dyryaen Hmm.. maybe this post would have been better in the Fallen thread... I hope I answered your question anyway *sweet*

Bah.. you Americans can't spell properly :-$ .... says the Swede :-D

Actually my thought when I made the Acchians was that they would be a little too garish and that their uniforms would kind of scream "wrong!" The blue is actually to tie them in with their ancient heraldry (I used Black Falcons to represent them in the Castle version of this world), I think you can even spot that little falcon on one of the officers. And the same goes for the blue/red scheme of the Steodians, that's because they were Crusaders/KKI once upon a time...

Yep, this is where that story takes place. Hehe, I

Hello, as some of you might know I have a fictional world with a tech level of the 1700s or something where my story is set. Thought I

While there's nothing wrong with mottlling, it's even a very good technique for breaking up "boring" walls I don

Actually I don

An ok start there, but it suffers a bit from the "big grey wall syndrome"... you should really keep the old greys from the light greys btw, they just look yellowed and dirty otherwise.. That cannon looks really good though!

Wow..... that

I have always found it hard to decide which is the best of this and the Skulls Eyeschooner, but since I own this one and not the other I like it better *sweet* I gave it a 5/5 anyway, up until the Caf

*Bump* First Chapter is up. Let me know what you think!

Oh no! You got me :-$ Nah, but on a more serious note I think that goth article was closer to the truth... even though I don

Hehe... actually it was no joke, I use mascara and eyeliner myself :-D

Actually studying Latin is one of the most useful things you can do... do you have any idea of how MUCH texts in Latin there are? Besides the grammatical structure in itself is beautiful.... and you do learn a lot about other languages as well... Anyway, nice port, Norrington, the pics are a bit blurry but from what I can see I like it.... And what's wrong with guys and make-up anyway? :-$
