Hehe.. well, I didn't want TLG to produce sets based on that ride, I just said that if they should use rides that would be the way to go... a town sub-theme anybody? ;)
Well, I for one think that in the very unlikely event that LEGO would base something on a ride it would be on the awesome Pirate ride at LEGOland Billund... you should go there, Norrington :-$
I think my view of this ship is coloured by the fact that it was my first...
Ah.. the nostalgia... *sweet*
Not something I think I'd buy now... but it's still kinda neat and cute.
Purty!
I really like how you made it wider than the usual hullpieces without making it look silly. The sterncastle looks really good, both on the inside and outside, and the tiny cannons on the upper deck (is that the appropriate term...?) is a nice touch, I
Very nice, the window on the sterncastle (?) has to be my favourite part. And I think I have mentioned it some five times earlier but I love that cannon design :-$

Well... I have an illustrated short story here: Click me!
And an unfinished and unillustrated much longer story here: Click me! (again)
And a development thread of sorts: Click me! (yet again!)
A lot of that is outdated though, developments in culture, story and before all language has happened a lot of times... A few examples:
Old New
Gorthein - Godhrik
Brechtel - Breastal
Brystei - Brestey
Lataria - Acc(h)ia
Saes - Steodians
Hengist - Anchrist
Mwrgyaen - Dyryaen
Hmm.. maybe this post would have been better in the Fallen thread... I hope I answered your question anyway *sweet*
Actually my thought when I made the Acchians was that they would be a little too garish and that their uniforms would kind of scream "wrong!"
The blue is actually to tie them in with their ancient heraldry (I used Black Falcons to represent them in the Castle version of this world), I think you can even spot that little falcon on one of the officers.
And the same goes for the blue/red scheme of the Steodians, that's because they were Crusaders/KKI once upon a time...
