Hey Dr_Spock. I've taken the two screws out and I've grabbed the middle where the batteries go and pull as hard as I can and I can't even get it to budge. Do they have little notches to lock it in? I'll try on one of my other two battery boxes I have. I may just have one that's being difficult. Thanks for that link Zux. Was a good read.

As the title says I'm trying to open up the AA power functions battery box. I need to resolder one of the terminals. I've taken the two screws out but can't get the 2 halves to come apart. All I could find online was to pull them apart but it seems they have little notch things holding them together and I don't want to destroy it in the process. Cheers!
