  1. Very unlikely as War Machine has a new variant in the film. Also despite whether it was or wasn't available in some regions, it really defeats the purpose of exclusive minifigures if you reuse one in a set. He's too detailed to be in a normal set anyhow
  2. Well this can only mean one of three things; 1. We are getting a Spider Man like wave, with updated versions of previously released villains 2. These are all Batman centric Justice League sets, complete with various Bat-Vehicles 3. A mix of 1 and 2
  3. Just a thought, but everyone's been assuming the big set is so "price for part weak" because it includes two big figs. This could be the case, but after hearing the set names, it could be because of multiple minifigures. Look at the small City sets with 15 minifigures, with no builds, but go for £30/40
  4. Yet nothing new shown for Marvel
  5. Looking at it, it does bare a lot of similarity. Except the concept was blue
  6. Thanos has become one with the Outriders. Or for any Walking Dead fans, he has become a Whisperer The purple does look different, but hope it isnt, just so I can do some big fig mix'n match. Not sure how I feel about the black body, but I'll wait until more trailers of the film or potentially a second Thanos to come forward to judge
  7. If he has a vehicle in the LM2 then it would appear in the sets from that theme, not in the mainstream DC sets. The set number backs this up, it's a Super Hero theme number not a LM set number (70800+)
  8. It's probably based on the theory that Hulk will be smarter like Banner. Besides, all other Hulks have been angry (I get that's ironic to complain about), I'm happy with a switch up It's a lazy wave, because the first leaked photo isn't satisfactory? Of course if you don't like what you see, that's your opinion and that's alright, but at least wait until ALL the pictures of all the sets are out to call it lazy. We could get another Hulk or Thanos this wave for all we know
  9. Seeing as Aquaman had a lack of sets around his movie, after watching it thought I'd fill in some blanks Some spoilers may probably follow
  10. Saw Aquaman in cinemas today... No spoilers It was actually a great movie. The story is a bit bland, but it gets overpowered by some of the best cinematography I've ever seen. Everything looks truly amazing, and there are some truly beautiful shots, like (as shown in the first trailer), Arthur and Mera dive into the dark Trench, followed by all these monstrous creatures, with lightning flashing over the sky. The fighting between Aquaman and Oceon Master is nothing short of amazing, especially with the added underwater aesthetic. Every punch or hit creates ripples. The standout for me was of course Black Manta, he plays a sizeable role and I loved every second he was on screen.
  11. After getting back from Aquaman, I can officially say that there were so many missed opportunities for sets, minifigures. The Manta ship isn't exactly prominent in the film, but it's somewhat iconic enough from comics to include (plus I'm glad because I missed the last one)
  12. I mean it has to be Hydro Man, Sandman and Molten Man. Granted sand is created through rocky science, but having one of these guys made out of sand rather than rock... In a Spider Man movie... Can't be a coincidence. Unless they are just Mysterio's creations
  13. Geez these guys sound like they're from an old Power Rangers episode
  14. They also said the title wasn't Endgame. Either way I always knew it would be, deep down. And when it came up in the trailer I geeked out
  15. Sandman??? In... ... I'm sold. If he appears in a set, he better have a damn regular shirt. A bit of a minor villain, but judging by how Spidey is going across the globe, it could be Cyclone; a villain he encounters in Amazing Spider Man Vol 1 143 when he goes to Paris
  16. I agree with you there, but there's at least ONE more Bruce Banner Hulk I absolutely NEEEED!!!;
  17. Dr Stranges hair piece was used on Bruce Wayne and Ulysses Klaue. It's exclusive printing, but not a new piece. There was also Thanos' Butter Knife, but I think that nobody cares about that But I do agree that a new Thanos would be the likeliest of new molds. Maybe a new accessory for a character, maybe a new hair or helmet piece for Hawkeye/Ronin. It's hard to speculate when the trailer didn't shine too much light on the story of the film
  18. It's not like LEGO is forcing anyone here to buy the figures if they aren't up to our standards, there is an option to not buy them, and let the people who just don't care about having the finest of details on the arms and legs give their money. Between Ronin or WS suit Cap, I couldn't care less if they use plain legs, as long as they look good
  19. There's a great offer for £2.99 on eBay. Not the figures, just the box. I don't understand the internet anymore
  20. Can it really be deemed a waste when we dont know the capacity of her role in the film?
  21. There are three things that are certain in life: death, taxes and ^this^. You can't avoid ^this^, it's mandatory, progress however is optional
  22. Probably because it's one sided, and if they use a one sided head with a hair piece, people would just complain about that Basically LEGO can never win, but they're still getting are money, so they are
