  1. Hello! I am not sure, how well known Idefix, the dog/sidekick of Obelix (and Asterix), nowadays is. I always enjoyed his small reactions to the events in the single frames of the stories. Mixel joints and creator sets had a huge influence on my recent LEGO builds and this resulted to this nearly life size (whatever size he has, it is small) model of Idefix. Idefix 1 by grubaluk Building this was real fun, since I reviewed so many of the comic pictures for it. The eyes are set on turntable plates, so they normally look straight forward instead like the above picture. Idefix 4 by grubaluk I hope you enjoy it. Andreas
  2. Hello! Ok, in that case I'd like to confirm, that it turned out excellent overall. The use of the frog indeed leads to the assumption, it could be the happy ending of the princess/frog story.
  3. Hello again. Many thanks for the comments! I was not sure, if the dead sunflower really is a good idea, but I can assure, that now plant was harmed ;-)
  4. Hello and Merry Christmas! This is my first posting besides the 'Hello'-Posting and I hope everything works fine. Computer games are nearly as funny as building with LEGO, and I tried to capture one game character: the standard zombie from the casual tower defense game Plants Vs Zombies. Plants vs Zombies Zombie by grubaluk It looks a little bit more fierce than actual in the game. Normally he/it fails like the coyote vs roadrunner, but I used the power of lego building to give him a one time victory against his/it nemesis - the sunflower: Plants vs Zombie Zombie Victory Maybe it is not the top Christmas theme, but I hope you like it anyhow. (The game really is funny and light-hearted.) Andreas
  5. Hello! My name is Andreas and I am living in northern germany. I am an AFOL since approx. 1995 with some breaks every now and then. My building interests are widely spread, but luckily I have no clue about star wars and super heros, which is a financial advantage. I am an active member on 1000steine and loved the international community on lugnet years ago. This and my current project (PF (new to me) steam train), for which I gathered a lot of useful information here, let me create this account Hopefully I will be able to contribute something also from time to time. There is a brickshelf folder with my projects and a part of it on flickr. http://www.brickshel....cgi?m=grubaluk https://www.flickr.c...8915@N07/2Lr86Z
