  1. OK fair enough then, but in figures this size the difference between 6' and 6.08' is much smaller than the actual figures were made at. If he needed to be taller then there were other ways it could have been done to keep his cost down. For what it's worth,I feel like he is worth his price because of the pieces used for the torso ,however I don't think it was necessary to make him like that and feel it was only done to push his price As for chewbacca,I know he should be roughly the size this Vader is but the normal Hasbro figures have made him about the same size as the others (as far as I can remember) so they could get away with doing the same here.for what it's worth Hasbro made general grievous the same size as most humans too which is probably why I was so impressed by his size for these figures.chewbacca would need custom plates for his fur
  2. Chances are that they'll do alternative waves eg wave 2 is epiVII,wave 3 clone wars, wave 4 epiVII etc.it all depends on how many waves per year we'll be getting, also for all we know, each wave could be mixed between stuff (as the 1st was) and the lord of the rings sets were C3PO would be a good fit in the line as well,I didn't mean to leave him out as I assume he would be made anyway,my list was more the characters I would like to see asap. Most droids would probably fit in perfectly fine except for R2 units, also I feel the standard battle droids wouldn't work unless they were custom built like Darth Vader's torso as if you put armor plates on a skeletal frame then they're too big and bulky for battle droids but if it's just a frame (which I feel it would have to be) then you'd be getting ripped off unless you got a couple of them per box
  3. I personally don't think they'll put2 storm troopers in the same wave. What I'd like to see/think we'll see in the next waves Wave 2 The Force Awakens: -First Order Stormtrooper -Kylo Ren -Chewbacca (would be in the highest price point as he'd need custom armor plates textured for his fur and possibly thicker legs) I don't know enough about the movie to comment further on this wave Wave 3 and beyond - The Clone Wars -Mace Windu (retool of obi wan) -Yoda -Count Dooku -Darth Sidious (must have cloth tunic/robes) -512th legion? Clone Trooper (to go with commander Cody) -Darth Maul (based on The Phantom Menace, using clone wars head if needed) -Super Battle Droid -Kit Fitso -Anikin Skywalker Original Trilogy -Han Solo -Royal Guard -Imperial Trooper -Boba Fett (retool of jango)
  4. General Grievous, wow. As the most expensive of the wave,if you're undecided about getting them, pick him up and you shouldn't be disappointed. While building him I had built his foot and my first thought was 'wow how big is he going to be if this is the size of his foot!' I don't say this much about Lego but after getting him I'd have to say that these guys are definitely worth their prices! My only complaint with grievous is with that with the four arms he's a little bit difficult to play with-I'm used to 6inch figures or smaller so these are different for me,his arm articulation is done much better than Hasbro's 3 3/4 figures arms for him though
  5. I like Vader just as I do the others I've bought, but I do have 3 issues with him: 1-I feel he is too tall,I remember him being around obi wans height so I don't get why he's bigger. 2-his custom built torso wasn't needed,he should have just used a standard skeletal frame like the others, the only reason they did it this way was to push up his piece count and therefore price. 3-due to the lack of any sort of tunic, the legs look too thin. Vader would have been much better if they had used the skeletal frame for his torso and given him a cloth tunic to put his price at what it is now instead
  6. I think for the human like characters, that anyone from the prequels should be based on their clone wars appearance like obi wan is,the only important character missing if done that way would be qui gon. As for original trilogy and the new movies,I guess they have to look like this.I don't think there's anything particularly bad about the way luke looks but obi wan definitely looks much better
