I like the 'iron' feel to the tower, and the tan paths go well with the tundra environment. The door frame and the window are also pretty nice and have a lot of detail to them. I only wish that there was some vegetation, maybe a tree or frozen plant, or an icy river or pond. Good job overall though, it looks really nice.

I love the wildflowers, that's a great touch. The round tile on the shield is a good detail that reflects your guild, and you have good photography too. Great job.

My vote goes to these amazing entries- oo7- 5 points I Scream Clone- 2 points oo7's entry is amazing, with all sorts of fancy techniques in the cabinet, the candles, and the chair. The room is elegantly furnished with all sorts of things, making his cabin look awesome. His room is stuffed with all sorts of things that would be in a captain's cabin. I Scream Clone's entry is also stunning. Using Kit Fisto's head for Davy Jones is a great idea. He added the smallest details, such as the bicorne on the dresser and the debris on the ocean floor. The barrels in the corner and the skeleton bodies everywhere look great. A close third would either be Patriot 270 or Guss. Patriot 270 made his 'captain' in the coolest fort, with cannons and men arming the walls of the fortress. The little nightstand looks very cute, and the miniature ships on the table is also a cool detail. Guss's entry also has many objects, and the color scheme is brilliant. I love the blue and tan floor. The piano looks very nice and I love the bed. This contest was great and I loved voting for these awe-inspiring entries.

That's kinda stupid on MLN's part, the mail that Berix sends you says you can trade with other players to achive your accomplishments. You apparently can't trade the spear peices. Wow. -Mike

Wow, that's impressive, but with mine, I fear that haveing too much space to look inside the gatehouse would be bad, maybe just some archer slits or places for light to get in would be okay, but then the rest of the wall would look too bland. I tried playing with designs, but it doesn't look right somehow. Thanks for the help. -Mike

I am kind of stuck,the gatehouse wasn't to my liking, so I destroyed it and gathered some peices, but I can;t seem to get it good looking. I've looked at CCCV mocs, other mocs, and real castles, but they all have the gatehouse integrated into the walls so you can't see a distinct gatehouse. As an example, Lolas made a wonderful castle, but the gatehouse is barely distinct, there are only some window slots above the gates and that's it. So, if someone could please show me a gatehouse of a castle with a design similar to mine, that would be helpful. -Mike

Thanks for the comments, and the seige tower is from a set, although I replaced the dark red headlight bricks with brown ones and made the pikes dk bley instead of light bley. -Mike

I know about to hard to see thing, soonce I do more work I will take better pictures. I am working on it every day now, and I will put it on a larger baseplate. I also have better close-ups in my Flickr. Thanks! As I said, there are more pics to see stuff in my flickr. After seeing the newest castle sets, (the crown knights with skeletons) I wanted to collect some men and make a castle. A few years ago, I made My Castle. I thought it was cool, but then I demolished it to make something else. Over time, I reconstructed a band of knights together. I kept them for a while, but then started buying more castle sets to make a suitable castle. I designed it of off Duke's Riverside castle. It is still a WIP, but it is improving every day. I have about 32 Crown Soldiers and about 30 skeletons, orcs, and trolls together. I am making a citadel, a blacksmith, a wizard's shack, more orc siege weapons, a stable, and tons of food items for a feast. After a few minutes of searching, I found his page: His Page I looked through his stuff, and wow! There are amazing castles! The siege one is very nice. I'm building a castle, and those pictures look fantastic and inspire me a lot. Also, the lines in the soil with "wind" look pretty cool. -Mike
