  1. 6500 bricks, and the wings aren't even done yet! It will be harder to get the upwards angle that the wings have, because they are much heavier than the horizontal stabilizers, but I'm trying different techniques and seeing what works. :) Thanks for the support! I really want to get the whole thing designed and ready to build by New Years.
  2. Update
  3. And now, after major mods:
  4. Thank you! S1 is now done, New videos!:
  5. In another scale
  6. The whole plane is probably going to be on the vicinity of €2000 by my rough estimates, maybe more maybe less. Which puts this at about, ~€400? And I was also thinking if I should edit the doors to make them openable.
  7. Just finished building this! (nose section of a 787) Any comments, questions, suggestions? I am trying to make this as good as possible so I can make it IRL in the medium future!
  8. Thanks. I believe that the version used in most Lego kits is the one with hollow studs on top, and so that is the one I am using and glass part 60601 fits!
  9. Is there a window available for this piece? The blue-translucent one that attaches from the inside?
  10. Where is the part that is the opposite of the one shown on the right? i.e. the one with the same type of attachment as the one on the left but instead of being 1x2{hinge} it's 2x1{hinge}
  11. As used on this link: http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/317922 I have tried searching, but I think I do not have these pieces in my LDD's inventory. I am wondering if I am just missing something, or if I need to do something else to get them?
  12. @NathanR @LegoFjotten @Naijel @bbqqq Thank you everyone! This would not be possible without your help!
  13. It might be that the problem is not confined to just the area where I first observed it. So, here is the entire section of my build that is being angled (yes, it is an aircraft wing). To rebuild that would be a nightmare, especially since I have a mirrored version on the other side. So, based on @bbqqq's discovery I think that the entire thing does not need to go, just part of it. Still, I do not know what that part is. All I need is for someone to find what area of this file is the part I need to remove and replace. I don't want to make someone do it for me because that would be a load of work. Very sorry if I am being too demanding or asking too much. This was a much more serious problem than I first envisioned it would be, and I spent a LOT of time on this build and don't want it all to be ruined now. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B14264ElDiOpbG95OE9HRTBCZXM/view?usp=sharing Thank you in advance Monkeyfume
  14. You do not understand, there is a lot more to my build than what is in the file. If you watched my video (it got deleted now) then you would know. The file is just the general area where I noticed the issue.
  15. No luck, this is a complex build for me and I really don't want to rebuild so much of it... Also, I heard there was a "developer mode" where collisions can be disabled? Is this a viable solution? I don't want to mess up my build.
  16. I set the angle back to 0 degrees and I still could not get the plate to fit. I don't know how much of the build I need to delete and redo for this to work.
  17. So if I rotate the whole angled area back to flat, everything should be corrected and it will work? I will try that!
  18. See if this will work https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B14264ElDiOpR2FqYWNYMXp5VEU/view?usp=sharing
  19. OK, I guess I can do that, but how is it possible to send to you?
  20. I tried to do it before the 2x3 wedges were there, and it still didn't work. And, @NathanR, there are a lot of parts composing the area that is angled. To get both the 2x4s and the 2x8 and the other parts in there location, I just took them out of the menu and they automatically adjusted to the angle.
  21. Edit: SOLVED! ... Is this a common issue, in LDD? I am trying to put plates (2x8s) over the top of 2x4 flat tiles. My build is symmetrical and both halves are angled down. On one side, everything worked fine, on the other, the software will not let me place the plates on top of the tiles, for no reason that I can comprehend. I really need a solution to this because this affects a build I've been working on for a while, in a major way.
