  1. My guess is that the second option is your best bet. That's how I had my small layout setup. Back then I found a website that suggested where to locate turntables (part 3680) to specific places in curves to secure the track. Running your train slowly should not pose a derailment risk if you don't support the curves. But if you've got the plates, by all means use them. Also, you don't have to support the entire sleeper. When running out of 2x8 plates, even 2x2 plates on the edges of the sleeper, under the track is enough support. -Juan

  3. Unnecessary link of entire post removed by moderator -TheBrickster I believe a few years ago Brickfilms compiled some videos from BrickFest 2004 and sold them as a DVD. Don't know if they did that for any other years. Right now on their site the DVD section simply lists "Sold Out". Maybe some more info can be found on their forums. I remember it because seeing pictures of some of the train layouts at BrickFest was what brought me out of my LEGO Dark Ages. -Juan
  4. Hello! I am planning on rebuilding my Imperial Star Destroyer that i disassembled a few years ago after moving to a new home. I was interested in your remark about an extra support tower. Any pictures? Thanks.
