Hmmm whats with the Mini Super Star Destroyer etc?Surely they are just customs? The Republic Cruiser looks ok but I guess I'll have to see it in hand in the shops before I commit to its purchase,the front does kinda remind me of a old tacky 80s lego train set from one of them building books all them years ago though.

The set looks really cool and at least you get all the Battle droids with the new arms and actual blasters this time around which wasn't the case with the battlepack,still I will have to save up if it costs the same as the Star destroyer if not more...

The Hoth set just looks...well wrong,I mean when you think of a Hoth set you instantly think of a Taun-Taun and instead you get a load of pointless pieces which just bump up the price.Why not just put the Hoth troopers and Rebel soldiers in a battlepack along with a turret and probe droid and be done with it?Also another Snowspeeder seems kinda pointless as well,couldn't they have built up the base more instead and make it more solid and enclosed? The Republic cruiser looks ok even though its a odd set to make and the front looks kinda flat but I will probably pick one up.

I have to admit that I don't really like most of these new sets that we have confirmed images off so far,The new Naboo fighter looks ok and I really like the new MTT but i'm not at all interested in the other sets and the nose on the Kit Fisto minifig kinda spoils it IMO. The TIE Crawler is one of the last things I was expecting,I mean we don't ever see the majority of the Jedi being released nor even common Rebel soldiers etc etc but Lego chooses to release something from Expanded Universe?If LEGO are going to start releasing more Expanded Universe stuff then why keep releasing updated tuned up versions of old sets like the SI? Anyway I look foward to seeing better pictures of the MTT as well as the AT-AT and Republic cruiser hopefully in the near future...

I would definately like a jedi battle pack as long as it contained Shaak Ti,I'm still waiting for Lego to release her in some set in the future... :-/ . Apart from that a Rebel battle pack and a Hoth stormtrooper or just normal stormtrooper battlepack would be cool to see.

I think a big let down would be a Hoth set without any Hoth stomtroopers or Rebel soldiers and just main character reprints taking the space instead,still I hope that turns out to not be the case and stuff like a lego probe droid would be cool to see. I am interested to see how the Republic cruiser will turn out,its one of them sets which I would never except Lego to make and seems a odd choice over all the other things they can make.

I was talking about the Armour over the barding but I think that pretty much confirms it,if theres 2 different types of barding then there can be 2 different sets of armour...and well you can tell the armour in the Skeleton's prison carriage set has a shield emblem where as the armour in the King's castle siege has decals to make the shoulder amour stand out and look like damn good plate mail. I guess Skeleton tower might have the good armour as well but even so its only in the 2 biggest sets.

These sets and the subtheme as a whole has to be one of the best castle themes Lego have made in a long long time,I just love the fantasy element used here and actual Undead horses is something I've been hoping for to many years to count. All the sets seem pretty buyable in terms of army building with the Crossbow attack set being a set definately worth buying in huge multiples,I usually don't like the big castle sets but even the Kings castle siege set is decent and I definately like the female mini in the Skeleton tower set. Now Vikings are a damn good theme as well but I guess I disliked the lack of opponents the sets had in favour of monsters,I'm just glad Knights Kingdom 2 is over as I detested the line... On a sidenote is the armour decals on the knight in the King's castle siege set different from the armour decals on the knight in the Skeletons prison carriage set?The plate armour looks awesome with what looks like decals on the legs as well...but if you can only get that armour and legs in a most likely
