  8. Thanks ! Thanks. I mainly follow Sariel's phototutorial. As a background I used a white fleecelike blanket and I have two 50W spotlights for lighting the object. I never point them directly at the object but let them shine on either the wall or ceiling, so you get a nice soft flow of light on the object instead of hard shadows. As Sariel states in his tutorial, don't use the internal flash on a camera, it'll light up a certain spot on your photo instead of having an even glow all over. I set the delayed action shutter to 2 seconds (could use 12s aswell but I am impatient ) and put the shuttertime on high, meaning it keeps the shutter open for a longer amount of time. You could get a heavily overlighted picture, but then you have to adjust the shuttertime until you get a nice picture, which is still somewhat overlighted. Then run it through Gimp as stated in the tutorial ... et voilá. There actually is just 1 door, but I'm glad you liked it /cheer I love extra points !
  9. Hey and thanks :) I agree that the house is somewhat simple. tho the timeframe didn't allow me to add more detail. I'll work on it as will I on my "building" of buildings. Landscapes are fun, but I need to complete the feeling by creating decent buildings aswell.
  10. Here's a MOC I made for the Lands of Classic Castle project : Overview 1 by Petturik NL, on Flickr Overview 2 by Petturik NL, on Flickr Cutout by Petturik NL, on Flickr and a link to the whole set : My entry to the Global Challenge III phase 1 : When Tybalt heared of the impending attack on the magic isles, he knew HE could make a difference. Having aquired both stature and fame in Lenfald by helping the peasants after the recent swamp campaigns, he thought he'd cash in some favors. He travelled around the whole of Lenfald, in search of people willing to fight. Willing to take arms up against the Outlaws that pillaged a many village and a many farm. Accompanied by a detachment of Lenfel soldiers and a treasurekeeper/taxcollecter, he arrived at the farm of John Crarot. John was a nimble farmer who mostly stuck to himself. Nonetheless he was pleased to see Tybalt arrive, because where Tybalt came to recruit, High Lord Triphian I of Lenfald made sure sufficient gold was payed for upcoming services. While John's wife Tyshia was attending the crops in the field, his kids welcomed the troops and especially the horses. Such finebred horses didn't come here that often. Tybalt, Sergeant-in-arms Miar and the treasurekeeper walked on towards the house. Miar never liked dogs and nervously followed Tybalt. After a quick chat, Tybalt and John aggreed on a fee and rounded off their bussines. John was to be enlisted as soon as possible. Now it was time to prepare. Not just his kit, but also his family because as it stood now, he might not even return......
  11. Used but in perfect condition, seeing the kid hardly played with it and it was stored in closed boxes on the attic most of the time.
