Hello all, my name is Andrew, and I've recently decided to join Eurobricks.
I am a member of The Brickish Association (UK), but some people may recognise me as Technoandrew on Flickr. I mostly build Train MOCs.
I use LDD to design most of my models, mainly because I don't have enough spare real bricks to do so, therefore need a parts list before ordering from Bricklink etc.
Recently, whenever I open LDD it comes up with the message 'LDD cannot access the Internet. Do you want to run LDD in offline mode?'
I usually just click 'OK' and get on with designing, however it is a pain because I don't get notified of any updates. For example, I had to manually download LDD 4 from the Lego Website.
I have tried a number of things to fix this; I run the program as 'administrator', and I have set Windows Firewall to allow the program through. BTW I'm using Windows 7.
I am currently living in University Student Accomodation, therefore do not have access to any router settings.
My Internet is otherwise working fine. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix it?
Thanks
Andrew
