Has anyone read the 'open letter to lepin' from an afol? I wish we could all just get along :) I'm kind of of the opinion that maybe this guy should appreciate the fact that someone wanted to make a production copy of his moc... Lego sure as hell didn't. I love the Lego brand but I don't think its the brick community's crusade to fight these IP battles for them. I'll get upset about it when I walk into TRU or Walmart and find these Lepin sets sitting next to their Lego equivalent. If it ever gets to that point (which it won't), I would see that these knockoffs are impacting Lego sales. Until then, I look at these knockoffs hitting a very niche corner of the market... Folks who like the sets but would never be in the market to spend the money Lego is charging for a box of bricks... the sale was never Lego's to have in the first place. And then of course there is the other niche market these knock-off brands satisfy which probably represents the folks on this thread (and myself) who just want to add characters to their minifig collections that Lego does not produce. I think we're still at the point where the presence of these knock-off brands are still driving innovation between themselves and Lego which is good as long as it never gets to the point where Lego sales suffer.

I was a big fan of the old forum too. I hope we can keep this thread legit, its going to be tough avoiding ali links. I hope I represent most of the folks from the other thread in my opinion that direct copies of available Lego sets is pretty lame and that the strength of these bootleg companies is in their ability to produce minifigs that Lego did not. I look forward to folks keeping us posted on new releases from the East

Dargo 847 kind of looks like what Lego is putting out with the CW Airport set any ways

I'm guessing he referenced the movie art for Civil War. Looks like a good match based on the chest but you can never tell for sure. The official Mark 46 (which I'm guessing is in the new Airport set with giant man) looks different. Maybe there's a Mark 47?

Anyone know if they are available anywhere or when to expect them? -Mark 3 -Mark 8-14 -Mark 15 'Sneaky' * -Mark 18 'Casanova' * -Mark 23 'Shades' -Mark 24 'Tank' * -Mark 29 'Fiddler' * -Mark 30 'Blue Steel' * -Mark 31 'Piston' * -Mark 32 'Romeo' * -Mark 34 'Southpaw' * -Mark 47 I'm not holding my breath for the generic Marks, but would think 15-34 would be come out at some point. There's a guy 'Crayon Bricks' who customized many of these (*). His designs for other marks were used in the bootleg sets (such as Hot Rod).

Hey guys, I finally got some of these Pogo minifigures in. I was pretty shocked by how terrible the figure quality was. The printing is phenomenal, don't get me wrong. But the molds or the plastic they used was horrible. I can't get the figures to sit on pegs well. The legs are crooked. Arms are either too tight or loose. Any one have the same luck I did or did I just get a bad batch? Made me appreciate Dargo a bit more

On the topic of new Lego sets (yes I know this isn't the appropriate place but bare with me..) Lego looks like they are letting the chinese bootlegers create their catalogs. Their crossbones and black panther sets are mismarked. On another note, Bring on the Giant Man bootlegs!
