Had to comment because that is my favorite pirate ship so far! The way it uses classic Pirate set features, but highly sci-fied, is just awesome!

The A-Wing definitely provided inspiration. As fun as it is to come up with crazy shapes for fighters, the fact is that the classics just never die. :) I have very much enjoyed learning and discovering new building techniques I never imagined as a kid. Hopefully these little fighters are just the beginning.

Thanks for feedback! I do NOT like to mix gray and bley, I just have a small collection. Its growing rapidly via bricklink however, especially bley. Same with the orange, that was all three of my orange bricks.

Its amazing how Lego lasts. I got my first set at age 6, it accompanied me all through childhood, and now as an adult I've started building again. Things have changed, "SNOT" I've done a few builds and I'm almost done with a comic, but these are the builds I feel I did the best on. So I kinda want to get some feedback so I can improve with future constructions. Republic Rapier I've always had a small collection, which forced me to learn to improvise. Using inverted SNOT around the cockpit is an example of that. Red Rapier Just for fun I swapped colors for a red version, a showroom model with no weapons, awaiting a buyer. Fighters are a big business industry in my universe. Sabre This was my first attempt to use a lot of SNOT. I have hardly any tiles so studs remain visible however. underside Studs do face in every direction though. I especially proud of the detailed underside (my weakness.) Durandalski's Flickr
