Greetings all. My name is Russell and I have recently (rather foolishly) decided I would like to build my own lego tank and so with this aim in mind I downloaded LDD and have begun playing around.
after about 30 minutes I decided I would try and re-create Pawel "Sariel" Kmiec's (apologies for lack of correct type) studless transverse subtractor from his book "The unofficial lego technic builder's guide".
sadly I have run into an issue after the first stage, where I am trying to install the differential inside the square brick and couldn't but eventually figured this out, however I the discovered I could not get the program to allow me to put all three conical whel gears into the dif. I will attempt to insert a picture to illustrate this.
is this something that I am doing wrong or is it a bug issue? any assistance and advice to me would be very much appreciated
Russell
I have just discovered that you are required to rotate the gears to make them mesh so have resolved this issue but advice is still very welcome
