Excellent moc, Geert! I've liked it ever since I first saw it in your movie trailer. Make sure you guys check out my Hogwarts layout in my HP world thread.
-
Very nice, although I still love the original Burrow.
-
Thanks for the comments, Geert. As you now know, I am a fellow brickfilmer on youtube. Can't wait for your next film! By the way, wouldn't it be nice to have HP emoticons!

For some time, I've been modding, and rebuilding my HP layout, and I am finally happy with the result. Rather than taking forever to take pics, I thought I'd make a video. Some parts of the castle are missing, but that's because I'll be adding the new one soon, which has these locations. Other locations have been rendered unimportant (Ravenclaw/Hufflepuff Common rooms). Here's the vid, hope you enjoy! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CihepjqqLDw Thanks for watching, comments/criticism welcome. Regards, NK.

I got a yellow light brick, too. I might message lego about it. Either way, anyone who's been jipped out of an orange light brick deserves to get one.

I'm going to be honest, the first one was awful. The 2nd, however, was pretty good. Just try not to move the camera so much. Otherwise, excellent job. BTW, how do you make your stopmotion? Do you use an actual program like framebyframe or monkeyjam, or do you just take pictures, upload them, and string them together in a movie maker? I'd like to know, cause it's a little choppy.

TUTORIAL: Remove print from decorated elements

I just use a pencil eraser, works like a charm! -
Brilliantly funny! I just love the amazing pot of HP mocs and vigs we've been getting in anticipation of and after the release of the sets. Truly brings back the feeling I had when I read the books.
-
Do any of the zellers have the HP sets? So far, I've only seen them at TRU and Wallyworld (Walmart). I have $150 in giftcards I bought specifically for HP. hanks for any help.

What a truly beautiful moc! It's a shame that Lego always makes stupid play feature filled sets, without paying attention to detail! Love the Batmobile, BTW! I'm a conformist!!
-
Which editing system do you use?
-
Excellent job! 1 gripe though, the camera is a bit shaky. Other than that, it's perfect. Lighting is beautiful, effects are good, and sound is superb. I may just have to post some of my brickfilms here.

I don't really touch that area, in fear of them rubbing off.
-
So small, yet, so good. I love all the greebles!!!!
-
Yah, everyone should stop hating on the movie. Sadly, the sets will be discontinued, but we'll probably get POTC next year!
-
Very nice! Very nice indeed! I'm really impressed with the level of detail put into this, especially in the trench. I also love the realistic snow banks. Even though you've been here for such a long time, you haven't posted much, so welcome to the boards!

No offense, but this is very poorly done. The size and colouration could have been much better. I can, however, understand the lack of parts problem. Most of my collection consists of built sets, so I'm thankful for what moccing parts I do have. Soon I'll be posting pics of my Hogwarts addition and Harry Potter display. Although it won't be the best moc ever posted here, I think it's excellent for a beginner with very few parts. Anyways, I'm a conformist!, and don't give up!

Guess I'll make this my first starfighter!

New Lego Exclusive 10217 Harry Potter Diagon Alley
Primusman replied to GRogall's topic in LEGO Licensed
I can't stand when people do this, drives me nuts! They say it's for a child? Sure, kids should enjoy lego, but this is more of a set for teen and adult fans. The way this person said it sounds like the kid is six. Whoever is doing this is probably some stupid kid who thinks he's funny or some soccermom. -
Was he a punk, or as Jabba would say, a punky muffin? All jokes side, I always hated that line. Too childish. Back on topic, I think a starfighter for Mace would be okay, but I wouldn't buy it. I prefer the eta-2 models, anyway. They're much more interesting.

Seeing as that torso hasn't been printed in a long time, it would be nice to see it surface again. Many people didn't have the chance to get that torso, and even if you could build the figure with the right parts, it was still never officially produced by Lego. Since it is a figure they've technically never produced, I'd consider it to be an exclusive. I can see your point, though. It would be nice to have a completely new figure. Just next time you try to make a point to another board member, try to do so without sounding so sarcastic (In other words, don't end your sentences in !'s).

I remember searching lego Batman custom batcaves up a few years ago, and found this. I always liked it, especially the computer and the parking spaces for vehicles. Keep up the good work, and I'm a conformist!!

My TRU in Winnipeg has the sets. Too bad they're not at your guys'. Don't have money to buy em right now, but will in the future.
