  1. Thank you both! :) Luckily for the postman he's only wearing Santa's hat and his regular postman outfit I can imagine he'll have quite a bit of trouble bicycling through the thick layers of snow though! I've added a few new pics to the first post.
  2. Thanks, yeah I would have liked to put tiling on the floors but unfortunately I just don't have enough bricks to do it
  3. Thank you! Glad you like it :)
  4. Hi everyone! Even though I've seen a lot of fantastic entries allready, I would like to present to you my entry for the Expand the Winter Village contest, the Winter Village Town Hall: Hope you like it! Goodluck to everyone and have a happy new year :)

  8. Hi guys and girls, After just having come out of my dark ages I would like to present to you my first moc, an alternate build using only parts from Santa's Workshop that I call the "Grandparents' House". Sorry if the photo quality is a bit bad as I'm still a bit new to all this (and I don't really have a great camera). Here is the complete build of the house with accessories: From left to right here's the grandmother with the cookies, the child with a present he got from his grandparents, a lamppost with a coffee table built around it, the grandfather flipping burgers at his barbeque, and a christmas tree: The house itself has a little balcony underneath which there is a small workplace: On the other side there is a small bench: On the ground floor there is a small cupboard and an old brown lamp hanging from the ceiling. The ladder that leads to the bedroom can fold up. In the bedroom there is another small cupboard and another present waiting to be opened: That's all, I hope you like it! I had lots of fun building it
  9. Test for posting pictures, sorry if the internet comes crashing down
  10. Thanks for the welcome guys! :) Yeah when I first saw pictures of the Detective's Office I thought 'wait, there's 2 shades of light blue now??' And I'm guessing neither of them is the Maersk blue.
  11. Hi all, I'm Wally (Walter) from the Netherlands. I've just decided to come out of my 'dark ages', allthough I have been watching the stuff that goes on on Eurobricks for years allready, as a secret silent guest. Grew up with lego in the 90's (born '86) with mostly Space, Pirates and City, and went into the dark age at the end of that decade, because it wasn't 'cool' to play with Lego at that age but also because Lego decided to juniorize most of their stuff around that time. Glad those days are over. First set I bought recently is Santa's Workshop and I gotta say I'm amazed by all the shades of brown haha. There's like regular brown, very dark brown, tan, dark tan, clay brown, dark orange (I think), some weird peach colour for the ground floors, you name it. I'm currently tryining to finish up an alternate build for that set so hopefully you'll see that coming up soon :) See you around! Wally
