  1. I might be the only one of this mindset, but I sort of wish they would produce at least one set based off of the comics/cartoon each year. I like the movie versions better, but I would rather have new characters than dozens of outfit changes for the same characters every year. I still think it is awesome that a Lego Taskmaster and MODOK exist and I wish they would make some more characters like that, although I still would like to see a movie version Falcon too. In other news does anyone else think the new Captain America looks better with the older darker red shield? I think it matches his outfit a whole lot better than the bright red shield of the comic figure.
  2. Quicksilver is selling for 25$, uh. Really don't want to pay 50$ for that set but I want to pay 25$ for a single mini-figure even less. Really hope he comes down a bit in price.
  3. I called my TRU today, they said they still didn't have the sets but said they were supposed to be getting them by March 1st although he didn't seem all that confident.
  4. My friend is moving out of the country and was having his going away party so I took the road trip as an opportunity to scour the department stores for new Marvel sets. Checked: 5 Wal-Mart's 3 Targets 2 Toy's R Us (Didn't check the Marvel action figure section though) Found: 0 AOU sets... It was a shame
  5. Saw on "The Brick Fan" that Age of Ultron sets are showing up a TRU including the Hydra fortress. Looks like the price is $50, with is more then I hoped but still better than 60. http://www.thebrickfan.com/new-lego-sets-showing-up-at-toys-r-us/#disqus_thread I'm hoping to check two out tomorrow and hopefully find at least one of the sets on my wish-list.
  6. Sorry that's what I meant, I know they have the blueish ones e.g. Storm, Electro. I just meant it wasn't a part you could get in that color in a real lego set, at least I don't think it is.
  7. Pretty sure these are not official Lego pieces but these turned backwards like here might be okay but not digging the orange so much tho (For Scarlet Witch). http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-vwYHB2vc0EM/Uz1bny-UJaI/AAAAAAAAd-M/1TvfIQf0EYc/s1600/Lego+Flash+KO+4.jpg
  8. Thanks for the review. The mech does look cool just wish it was better scaled, still think it's too big. Also not sure why Scarlet Witch has blue energy (not red) is that something from the movies? Surly it couldn't have been too much harder to make them in red could it?
  9. Not sure if anyone can confirm this charts accuracy but I am in agreement that the lego version is probably too big. http://www.flickeringmyth.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/avengers-size-chart.jpg
  10. The Good: The Ant-Man set is my favorite and is put together quite cleverly. The Bad: I wish the Ant-Man set had a statue sized Ant-Man for use in displays and MOC's where everyone else is large sized, I'm really surprised they didn't include one since they are already printing them for the Helicarrier and all. The Ugly: The Rhino mech is pretty bad in my opinion, would have been willing to buy the full set if the Rhino was at least okay. Might look into building my own at this point. Also not a fan of Green Goblin's glider although that is easy enough to build anew but it is cool it fires disks. Also wondering if he will look weird if you put a proper satchel over his printed strap.
