  1. It looks more like Jarnbjorn than Ultimate Mjolnir, though.
  2. The Funko Thor looks like he is carrying a version of Ultimate Mjolnir, while Lego Thor looks like he is carrying Jarnbjorn.
  3. Do we have any idea as to a release date for the winter sets in the States?
  4. That's definitely the Mark 46 from Civil War.
  5. That's awesome...helps out a ton. Do you happen to have any pictures with the Civil War hair on him? Also, what head is that on Bucky?
  6. If so, can I get some comparison pictures for reference? Thanks in advance!
  7. I'll save everyone the Comic Book Guy rant, but just say that that isn't true.
  8. Another high-detail Iron Man armor would be super nice, but a new minifig would be preferable.
  9. No worries; that picture you posted works as a more comic-accurate Strange in his current run. Here's a couple of reference pictures from the movie RE: that old Superman hair and how it works for Doctor Strange. http://www.cheatsheet.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/doctor-strange-pic-full.jpg http://mcuexchange.com/thesite/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/Doctor-Strange-2.jpg Just need the sides of it to have some gray highlights.
  10. That is EXACTLY what I was looking for. Thank you!
  11. I switched out Hawkeye's head for an older one right off the bat; I used that head for another helmetless Cap. And I completely agree about Doc Strange; that was a legit fun set to build.
  12. I have to say, the rollout for the new August sets is nothing short of asinine. I live in a large metropolitan area, and only one of the "exclusive" stores is carrying either of their respective sets. I'm insanely disappointed in how this has been handled.
  13. I asked it a few pages ago, but I really think that if there was a version of Superman's old spit-curl hair with gray highlights on the side, it would work pretty well with the new Doc Strange.
  14. Picked up Doc Strange yesterday, and love it. Very nice build; I tend to favor the rooms/playsets over vehicles, and this is one of my favorites. Has anyone put the new Superman hair on Doctor Strange yet? What about Superman's old spit curl hair?
  15. Usually there's a place setting for the new sets at Target before they are set out. I can't even find them online. I'll probably just have to order it online directly from Lego
  16. Is Doc Strange a Target exclusive in the States? I have looked at three around me to no avail.
  17. Eh, maybe. Remember the awesome flame-throwing truck fight we got at the end of Iron Man 3?
  18. In terms of comic-based merchandise, yes; Spider-Man is bigger than everything (The Avengers, Superman, Batman....everything). In terms of the MCU, Spidey is still behind IM, Cap and the rest of The Avengers in terms of importance. Once the original guard steps back or aside, then Marvel will elevate properties and characters like Spider-Man, Black Panther and Captain Marvel. Until then, The Avengers as a whole are the most important movie property they have.
  19. Just got my Tanker Truck Takedown all put together. Just some quick thoughts: - Spider Man rivals the Silver Centurion as the best minifigure of the year. Incredibly detailed, and it looks perfect. - Hawkeye's print is very nice, although I switched his head out for another AoU variant, and used his new head for another helmetless Cap. - The build itself is not bad. The tanker has some nice features, and fits in pretty well with any City set you might have. The bike and wind sock station are pretty forgettable, though. - It gives you two of the clear pieces to hold Spidey's new web accessory; I used mine with the new Repulsor that Iron Man got in the airport set for a little more accuracy.
  20. Tanker Truck set ordered; Toys R Us should have it here on Friday
  21. In the States? It's also up on Toys R Us's website; does anyone know if they ship immediately or on Aug. 1st?
  22. The moderating of this forum has always amused me. Such harsh language for the slightest off-topic discussion, when a simple PM would do. Probably above my pay grade, though. To answer a previous question, the Civil War and Doctor Strange sets are officially released on August 1st in the States, although some people are getting them early from retailers who haven't stocked their shelves yet.
  23. I honestly think it looks more like a comic version of Strange. Maybe putting the Superman/Captain America hair on him will work better; what he has now is far more suited to a comic-based Strange (or a Reed Richards MOC) than the movie.
  24. Cap was pretty accurate. Just missing wings on the helmet.Thor is the one that bothers me. He hasn't had that shoulder length hair since the first movie. I gave him longer hair with a braid, and it looks much better.
