Hahahahahaa, it literally happened to me when I saw that pic. TMNT was one of my favourite shows when I was a kid. I caught a bit of the 2003 rehash as well in my teens which was not too bad. Megab***s used to do TMNT at that time, but they were garbage as expected. I'm sure Lego will do a better job :) I also hope that classic TMNT characters like Bebop, Rocksteady, Casey and Baxter Stockman (Fly version) appear somewhere down the line. Yeah bring on Baxter Stockman,

What Dark Knight Rises wave? I thought that we are quite sure that we won't be getting one. -
7 reasons to ditch Australia and make the United States of America your new home

Will this promo be available only in the US? Damn the Lego group if it is. I'm leaving the US on the 8th of May, a week before the promo starts I must say, USA is a lego heaven.

Well, that explains it. The HR poster (thanks GRogall, I don't know how you are always the first to come up with HR images) has got me super excited for the sets.It would have been nice if they slipped in a hair piece for iron man in the sets. Anyway it's not much of an issue, as that hairpiece is fairly common. -

Yes, why did they get rid of Iron Man's helmet from the poster? Were Lego embarrassed by the sheer size of it? -

In Australia those are the normal prices we pay for new games. So nothing is really overpriced. -

Arrggh, they left out Nick Fury. I can't believe this. The biggest three Avengers sets have too many minifigures in common. What can you do with three Loki's? and the aliens don't look as nice as I thought they would be. -
What makes you think the quality of the bricks will be poor? It's very likely that some of the detailed parts will be made in China and we'll possibly get hybrid minifigures like those in the Super Heroes line. But personally I don't mind this if it means better designed minifigures and cheaper prices for consumers. In Australia Helm's Deep may possibly be way more than 175-180 USD. I saw somewhere that it'll be 220 Australian dollars which converts to about 240 US dollars. So you are not getting it as bad as us.

Yes, that's definitely a reason. I feel that the modular line has lost the wow factor, as we've been treated with many well detailed buildings since CC came out. But it is still one of my favourite lines and I hope we'll be getting many more. As far as Town Hall is concerned I think it would have been more appealing if the set was not so similar in design to FB. I'll still be buying it though. The piece count and the prospect of extending the modular street (even though I have no room left for another building) is what is drawing me to the set at the moment.

Wow they look amazing together. Market Street is missing though, but some don't consider it as part of the line. I'm not that keen on Town Hall as a stand alone building, it didn't take my breath away like CC or GG, but I'll have to buy it to keep the street going

I'm surprised that Saruman is absent from the first wave of LOTR sets. I was expecting to see him in Orc Forge, but no, Saruman has been left out. I suppose I'll have to make a custom Saruman using Count Dooku's head. After all the same actor plays both parts

Yeah, I agree, my guess was probably wrong.. Fury may be in the Quinjet and we'll get some sort of villain in Captain America's Avenging Cycle, probably Red Skull, but he wasn't mentioned in the official press release so may be he is the figure that Marvel are keen to keep a lid on. I'm putting all my money on Red Skull being the villain in the captain America set. -

The unnamed secret minifigure that Marvel did not want to reveal in Captain America's Avenging cycle must be Nick Fury since we know he is coming out and since he wasn't in any other set. Not much of a secret after all. -
Wow, great entry, love the joker minifigure and the batpod. So many great entries everyday for the contest. So many deserving winners. Good luck!
