So. Almost TWO MONTHS later than America, this year's BIONICLE sets have finally shown up in Target Ocean Keys, Perth, Western Australia (where I work). About time! Still, we only seem to have a limited amount and they have been quite literally jammed in amongst the rest of the Lego-I mean come on, give it its own display! The terrible Transformers: Age of Extinction (unfortunately not the extinction of the franchise) toys don't need their own display anymore! Anyway. Decided to buy Onua and Protector of Earth (you just hav to buy the set). Cost me $45. I realised soon after that it was going to cost me around $250 to get this entire wave. My body is ready for that. Anywho, I like Protector and I like Onua-I just didn't realise how tiny his mask was! It's like...really tiny! Maybe that's just in comparison to the rest of him... Now to find the rest of the sets!

Yeah but...Myer is too high class for me Jokes aside, if they bring it in I'd expect everywhere to. But if Tahu costs me $30 I'm going to cry.

So...bit off topic, but does anyone know when Australia is getting the Winter wave? I have heard 'February' rumoured around but nothing specific. I had half a mind a few weeks ago to ask my local comic book guy (we're tight) to order all 13 sets into his shop especially for me...except you know, I would probably have to pay exorbitant costs. February is going to be an expensive month for me

So really not a fan of the inconsistency that has become apparent between LoSS/the Skull Spiders and these new Skull villains-they look nothing alike. Obviously there was supposed to be a reason they were all 'skull' related but at the moment that irks me. Honestly can't really see Warrior, Slicer or Basher well enough to judge them but the colourisations look interesting. They do look rather...'bare-bones' (sorry, had to :P) however. Scorpio looks...eh. That tail irks me greatly. Also, it looks like he has a yellow Inika torso (hope he doesn't though). Ekimu (come on, it's Ekimu people) vs. Skull Grinder definitely looks to be the best set of the wave. Ekimu looks glorious and so does Grinder. We get the Mask of Creation in all its glory too. My question however-where is this? It was used to advertise the Summer wave and does not appear to be in these sets. Then again the quality is poor and they ARE prelims, but I sincerely hope we get that mask in this wave.
