the episode three duel vignette is great, really epic, and great use of black mini figure parts to create silhouettes, i also though the red sky in the yavin iv duel was cool as well :)
-
you should have waited for more figs to be released and done separate Dc and Marvel ones, as it is it seems jumbled and confused as its mixed marvel and DC and you also use some super villains as star wars heroes... it just doesn't really work for me :/
-
sooooooo awesome, you absolutely nailed the autumn vibe, and the minifig selection is perfect
-
simply perfect, i want to build one of my own soo badly now!
-
nice work, i recognized it immediately, and thought the coloring was pretty much spot on... i guess most of the confusion has been caused by its tiny amount of screentime and then slightly modified appearance in star wars battlefront
-
wow, amazing, this is excellent, both the lego animation itself is really smooth and the story and humour is great you've got a real talent for this well done and thanks for sharing :)
-
Brilliant! everything is absolutely spot on and instantly recognizable in your excellent lego rendition of this iconic scene
-
WOW ABSOLUTELY PERFECT! :D
-
nice one i havent got enough of the newer pieces to make one with real bricks but i'll make sure i try it out on LDD cos i love how perfect the scale is for creating detailed yet distinctly "Lego" star wars character, (If you get what i mean)
-
nice one i totally agree about the heads, thanks for sharing i was waiting for someone to actually post a pic of what the old face looks like with the new horns :D
-
great moc, i especially love the cinema, its so sleek and detailed, and the interior... WOW i was not expecting that. Amazing :D
-
personally i was just happy for batman's reurn but the launch of a DC universe line is beyond cool... and then we find out marvel are launching what appears to be a complimentary line that almost unites the two comic factions in a cross over DC vs Marvel lego superheroes line, i literally cant wait for these to come out any of the figs look awesome... except ironman his head is way too big they should have just gone for a c3po style head for more accuracy even though it would sacrifice having starks face underneath
-
wow im surprised how similar this is to my hoth layout in terms of the deliberate integration of the existing lego sets, i am also waiting for the new hoth base set to be released to finish my own layout as well... hopefully it will be a good set :)
-
great design, this really brought a smile to my face... especially considering that i was listening to black and yellow when i stumbled upon it
-
awesome... the build is excellent, unique concept and perfect minifig choices to represent the nations and civilians to bring it to life, more like this please :)

[REVIEW] 7961 Darth Maul's Sith Infiltrator
ScoutTroopy replied to Future74's topic in LEGO Star Wars
i really like the overall shape and design of this newer sith infiltrator, except one thing, the join between the cockpit section and the "nose" front bit thing that lifts isnt smooth at all, they look really separate and there are lots of gaps :( on the plus side again all the minifigs are great, but i would like to see maul's new horn piece on one of the older heads because i personlly prefer his previous face print -
personally i really liked it, i also loved arkham asylum, however they are both very different gaming experiences. I really liked lego batman because of i enjoyed playing through lego's own unique interpretation of batman and its quite a different approach to batman, and very fun. Also im sure if you enjoyed completing all of the riddlers tasks and whatnot in arkham asylum you'll enjoy lego batman as well considering lego's tendency to nclude minikits and loads of other secret areas and details. I hope this helps, personally though i cant wait for arkham city :)

[MOC] Imperial P-102 class ''Avenger'' crash site
ScoutTroopy replied to Hollander's topic in LEGO Star Wars
i love the ships bridge it looks absolutely awesome, i thinks the asemetry to it, the small antennea and the greebling, but as a whole it just looks great :D -
personally i really like the use of red on the bacta tanks for anumber of reasons, it cleverly disguises the yellow of the sumo torsos, and could also be to signify an error or rejection of the fat clones as opposed to the normal tranquil blue
-
WOW thats ll im going to say because that model is so breathtaking i can barely speak... perfect MOC in every respect
-
i like this set, however i definetely feel underwhelmed by the design there is nothing large or substantial from the film that is easily recognisable (with perhaps the exception of the bacta tank facilities) i want this set because it will coplement all my other hoth sets perfectly (the only star wars sets i get these days)and i like the way lego has tried to do the interior, something it hasnt done before as opposed to more rehashes that will make me want to replace my old components due to a lack of continuity (im talking about turret and snospeeder design) They have successfully done the exterior with the many turrets, wampa cave, trenches and main gate etc so i am glad that they are addressing the interior and personally this is perfect for my layout as the exterior is fine and i do need more of these details such as the bacta tanks and hanger walkways to fit out the interior. having said this i can understand perfectly how many lego star wars fans may be dissapointed by this as without a decent collection of previous hoth sets this is almost useless. hopefully a few minor improvements will be made before its release but thats mainly wishful thinking as its almost certainly too late now :( lego should have made a playset similar to the endor one, centering around the rebel shield generateor, with perhaps some turrets trenches troops and maybe some other vehicle, or... a semicircular hanger and ice tunnel leading into it with vader and the snowtroopers fighting off the last of the rebels only to find the falcon has already escaped, this would be perfect to complement thenew mf being released and being semi circular be not too large and expensive hoth set yet allow the option of making a larger build by combining two of the set... anyway that was bit off topic but yes overall i feel that lego have missed an oportunity here
-
i hope this becomes a thread like the singke pane funnies because all of these are hilarious and instantly recognisable... Good work :)

how do so many collectors get hold of so many original episode II clones, there were only so many produced... i swear lego manufactured just ridiculous amounts of them for movie dioramas and must have sold the surplus units off via the internet afterwards
