I've been working on this for a while, and first showed it at SXSW Create in Austin a couple weeks ago. It's more of a maker project than a Lego project, though there are a few under-the-hood ABS improvements. The link to a YouTube video includes additional background.

The isometric red brick logo was on the 735 Basic set, and I think 715/725 as well.
