  1. Not sure if this is related, but in the SDCC Dimensions Doctor Who trailer, at the part where all the doctors are shown, the Tenth Doc seems to be absent. Maybe the Tenth Doc will be in the Ideas set?
  2. Nah, it's OK. I already have one. The prices in Singapore are ridiculous due to the shipping costs, I assume- but when it comes to reselling for some reason the prices just goes crazy. Anything goes when it comes to prices- The other day I saw someone buy an Iron Man Minifig for the same price as the set it came in.
  3. I don't think it should be opened either: really the only exclusive part of the set is the sticker- the actual bricks can be easily bought on Bricklink, etc. Coincidentally $90 is about the price which the Exo suit is being sold for by scalpers in contrast to the actual price of $35, since the set isn't avaliable here.
  4. Hey, I thought I'll give a quick update regarding the set 2000446 Building My SG. The distributor of the set, Duck Learning have posted on their Facebook page that the set will be avaliable for pre-order from 15th October 2015 at a price of... SGD$35.00! This price contrasts with the usual $70-$100 price which scalpers are currently asking for. For those not in the know, Building My SG is a set which LEGO has produced for the schoolchildren in Singapore in commemoration of the country's 50th year of Independence. This is a great oppotunity to grab the set without buying from scalpers (or striking deals with schoolchildren ). The only problem may be that Duck Learning may not be shipping overseas, so if you want to get the set you might want someone in Singapore to get it for you. As of yet Duck Learning have not set up the web store to sell the set, but when they do they will post it on their Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/DL.LEGOedu). The actual post is here if you want to read the post for yourself. I want to do a review of the set as I have it but I just don't have the time . Well that's all for now. This has been MarklinCadet, signing out.
  5. Wait, what? I know very well about the ridiculous pricing here in Singapore, but is it really so infamous that it is worth a mention? Is there a whole topic on it?
  6. Yeah, that's true.
  7. I saw the year of the goat set at a Toys "R" Us here in Singapore- but I'm not going to pay S$69 just to get it! The thing that makes me want to get it is that after the promotion is over prices for this set will skyrocket (If they aren't already expensive ). Then again, I feel the same way for almost every cool set I see. Sadly LEGO can't always make new pieces for every set they make.
  8. I've noticed that the ideas sets in singapore are overpriced: The Exo Suit cost SG$100 here but SG$47 on Amazon!
  9. Hello BlackVagrant! I'm new to the forums too- I'm also singaporean . I got the ideas exo suit for Christmas, which is nice because of its complicated techniques. Hello EuroBricks! *Waves*
