You're right dr_spock, but with lego railroad track I couldn't get the right rotation angle for close the rotating service on the shuttle, so I choose to put tyres, maybe in the future I could substitute the tyres with railroad wheels, could be a nice idea. Thanks for suggestion!

Teazza replied to sonicstarlight's topic in LEGO Town
WOW! excellent buildings with more excellent internal details! Many many congratulations! -
Nice idea, I will, I'm thinking on the right colour for them... thanks The pipe clamps can be lowered and raised a bit, but you've to separate one hinge connection, so it is not a very good raising movement. The model you chose to reproduce is fantastic! please post pictures of your work! happy build! thanks

Hi, that strange yellow part is a technic panel (it appears also in bionicle) that I took from set #8067 For the color changhing, I think that the light grey details looks good with the light grey wheels and box doors. Anyhow when I'll have the pieces I'll try the black version you suggest to see if is better. Thanks for the suggestion! Bye Teazza Nice idea! expecially on the white cylinder of the load...I'll work on it! Thank you Bye Teazza Hi, I just took examples from differnt trucks pictures found on the web. I'll work to improve and get better details on all the model. Thanks Bye Teazza Hi, I'm glad to had been source of ideas for you! I saw your truck days ago, it's very good, expecially the front part. Hope to see other nice 6-stud wide special trucks from you! Thank you Bye Teazza

Absolutely fantastic!!! congratulations! the way you built the sea is amazing!
-
Yes, I also thought that maybe the truck is not big enough, but I wanted to get the feeling of that low trucks that you can see in the airports to move the airplanes (see Zorbas post) and I think this is a good solution. Reply to: 'lightningtiger' : Yes, is not as the real one, but I just took the global idea, didn't wanted to reproduce the real one. I also had to build up something good with pieces in my disposition... To all: Many thanks to everybody for your comments!!!
