Thanks for info, ironic really, as I thought I'd offer it to genuine Lego enthusiasts before putting on eBay, seems I wasted my time. I would still appreciate tips on how to sell it (whole or split), even if nobody here is interested in buying it. I am surprised though, as I always thought it was a quality set up.

Hi, My name is Steve. I'm in the UK. I have joined this forum as I have recently uncovered my old Lego 12v train set and I would appreciate some advice on selling it. The train is a 7745. I also have 4 points (2 remote)lots of track inc crossroad. I have all the books and sticker sheet but do not have any boxes. It all appears to be in good order. Is it best to sell as a lot or split into smaller lots? Is eBay the best way to go? What starting prices would be appropriate? If anybody here is interested please pm Cheers Steve
