My dream set would be Minas Morgul with the Witch-king riding a fell beast, but I doubt this will happen. I'd settle for the scene where the Witch-king corners Gandalf the White and Pippin on the wall of Minas Tirith andhe whips out that flaming sword.

Wonder Woman doesn't look like that anymore. She's got a more classic look in the 52 relaunch. The Batman comic by Snyder is a real gritty story. I'm glad to see the Dark Knight in a real dark comic. Wonder Woman is indeed badass. I've never been a fan of hers until now. Action Comics with Superman is very enjoyable. The other new 52 I read will never get lego sets, which is a shame because I'd love a Jonah Hex minifig.

Honestly, I am not a fan of these sets. The colors and the designs seem geared toward kids, dazzle them with vibrant colors! Thank god I have the original Two-Face set because the color scheme of the new minifigs suit is fugly. What is that, orange and blue? I don't mind the Catwoman set being a repeat since I never got the original. I needs to get me mits on that Catwoman minifig, and the fact that it comes with a blue Batman is a bonus. Not a fan of the new Batcaze, but I love the minifigs that accompany the set. I wouldn't mind having Bane, but Poison Ivy and that new Robin (looks like Tim Drake) are the real prizes. I'll be picking up the Superman vs. Lex Luthor set purely for the minifigs. I am not a fan of mechs, but it doesn't look too bad.

I'm in the same boat. I haven't been to eurobricks in a long time, and when I come back I get this pleasant surprise. The Bat is back and he's bringing friends! I need a blue Batman, especially with that cool custom smirk. The new Joker looks great, that hair alone is reason enough for me to pick one up. Never got a Catwoman, so this new one will be much appreciated. Hopefully Lego will also release a new Bane what with the film coming out next year. I'd also like a Superman, though I'm not a huge fan of the character there are stories off his I adore (All-Star Superman, Superman: Peace on Earth, and Hitman #34). As for MARVEL, I'm not really interested unless they release the Punisher or the new Ant-Man (Eric O'Grady). I might pick up a Cyclops for my brother if the minifig is good.

I love lego Batman, but I'm not big gamer. I saw Lego Batman the game on sale for $20 and was wondering if it was worth the purchase. I really enjoyed Batman: Arkham Asylum, and am looking forward to Arkham City. Would I enjoy Lego Batman too?

Review: 7786: The Batcopter: The Chase for Scarecrow
1eyedjoker replied to The Penguin's topic in LEGO Licensed
Know how you feel Miss Kyle. I love that Blue Batman, but don't have it. And I can't find it anywhere for an afforable price! I really like the shade of Blue they used, makes Batman look as cool as a cucumber. Batman is so cool, when he goes to bed, sheep count him. I'd also like to get my hands on at least one of them flaming jack-o-lantern heads with the bat-symbol mouth. How damn awesome is that? Though I understand yer complaints about the Scarecrow minifig, it's too Halloween for me to be disappointed. His face is creepy and goes well with the wide brimmed hat, no matter what color the hat is. I ain't as sick of glow in the dark as you, but that's probably because this is the only glow in the dark head I got. It's nifty and not a real problem for me. -
Cool T-Rex! Is that a tiny gray dinosaur I see? Or am just hallucinating in my current tired state. The sky pod is a great idea, that's something Batman would definitely have for those sticky situations. It's sleek which gives the impression that it would be very fast, and keeping the pointy little bat-ears is a nice touch. With the wings it is a nice compact version of the airship found in 7782. I also like that there's some controls, the little details make it for me. Good stand for it as well. Too tired right now to type anything more substantive...

Cool! I posted 2 pics, but they came out all blurry. Dang cruddy camera!

Some really blurry photos by me. The idea is a store for all yer bounty hunting needs. Mon Calamari Salesman: And here we have some nice, slightly used, Mandalorian armor. The Fett Man: Cool, but does it come in white?

What're your favorite and least favorite Star Wars minifigures?
1eyedjoker replied to Darthking623's topic in LEGO Star Wars
While Boba Fett is my favorite charater, Bossk is my favorite minifig. The head they gave him is just great. -
The suspense is killing me! But at least I'm not bleeding out while droids close in. The bloody hand and the blood pooling on the ground looks great. Coupled with that stern look of determination makes for a very affecting scene. Never surrender, trooper!

Awesome mech! Cool looking claws on the feet! Nice to see the the hands can grab and lift, increases the enjoyment factor. The browns are nice, goes well with Wicket's look. And the steaming is great, fits into that steampunk genre, but I think Ewoks would prefer if it was clean burning. Love the steampunk MOC's, keep up the great work.

Yeah, his head looks twisted a little too far, but that wicked sneer makes up for it. Always good to see Darth Maul. Now if we could only get a minifig of Darth Talon, they'd go very well together.
-
Ordinary people hunt deers. Batman hunts dinosaurs.
-
Why does Batman has a dinosaur in his cave? The giant penny and Joker card is understandable, but what's with the T-Rex?

What's your favorite LEGO license theme so far?
1eyedjoker replied to BrickMonster MonsterBrick's topic in LEGO Licensed
Batman! I purchased Jurassic Park sets when they first came out, and while I really like dinosaurs, I think the Batman sets are superior. The minifigs are all great, henchmen exclude, and the one hero one villain per set ensured high playability. Not to mention those short comics on the boxes were a lot of fun. -
His face is scrunched like a sphincter? I think I'll stick with the 2007 Darth Maul.
-
Not a fan of Darth Maul's little crown, makes his head look too large. I prefer the black hood.
-
Nolan is making another movie, The Dark Knight Rises. It'll feature Bane and Catwoman as villains. Those are two minifigs I wouldn't mind getting my hands on. And ninja guy is Ra's Al Ghul, I was hoping to see his daughter Talia Al Ghul in the new film but I guess it wasn't meant to be.
-
My sentiments exactly! Cool comic, really like the faces used for Batman and Robin, even if they are yellow. It's too bad the only licenses from WB that lego seems interested in is Harry Potter. The only lego sets I purchase are Batman and Star Wars, with Star Wars focusing on Clone Wars and no new Batman I don't see many buys in my future. I hope The Dark Knight Rises will herald the return of Lego Batman.

This is a fantastic MOC! I really love the minifigs, their outfits and weapons have a wicked steampunk/old-timey feel. The AT-TE looks great, I could just imagine the machine making its way across a vast desert, all the while spurting out great gusts of steam. I wish this was a real set.
-
I read the first couple of books a long long time ago. They were good. Never saw the film, though. You're MOC is really cool. The clothing you chose for the characters are perfect, suits the Gothic tone very well. I like the yellow light hanging above them, like a tiny sliver of hope for the characters.

Review 7780 The Batboat: Hunt for Killer Croc
1eyedjoker replied to The Penguin's topic in LEGO Licensed
I've always been a fan of reptiles, so when it comes to Killer Croc I prefer him to be more crocodile-like. That's not to say he hasn't been done very well closer to human form. Bermejo's depiction of him in Joker had him looking pretty human, yet the character lost none of his beastly nature. -
Review: 7779 The Batman Dragster: Catwoman Pursuit
1eyedjoker replied to The Penguin's topic in LEGO Licensed
I wish I had gotten this set when it came out. The dragster looks cool, I'm a sucker for sleek when it comes to Batman's various mobiles. Plus that Catwoman minifig is tasty. The Hush costume is a good modern choice, goes well with that devious look on her face. Checking out the prices for her on eBay is a sad endeavor. I guess I am to remain Catwoman-less, unless they revive the license for the 3rd Nolan film. -
Review 7781 The Batmobile: Two-Face's Escape
1eyedjoker replied to The Penguin's topic in LEGO Licensed
I love this set! The minifigs are just fantastic, as were the majority of Batman minifigs. Batman with the black costume is very cool, the batlogo inside the golden oval is really eye-catching. Two-Face is great, his scars look very creepy and the use of black and white on the body and hair is nicely done. I do agree with you about the hands and the coin, though. As for the vehicles, Two-Face's van is okay but not what I was really interested in. That Batman is sleek and badass, I love it! Plus it's got a little compartment for Batman's sundries. The batwings are unnecessary, but I still like them. The street set-up is alright, but I don't find much occasion to use it. The street lamp is a prize, though.
