  1. I'm somewhat in the same boat as giomel - I entered my "dark ages" in '86 and Lego's come a long way since then. I'm in awe of all the Neo-Classic MOCs, but the building techniques (such as SNOT) are a bit if a mystery to me. I have Mr Reid's book on the way and hope to maybe pick up a trick or two from that (I knew before buying it that it wasn't a full-on instruction manual, but that it did have some instructions for smaller craft/bots), but am wondering where else I can learn about building techniques in the 21st century....?
  2. It would have been bought in the UK, I'm sure...I don't think my folks would have sourced it from overseas. I don't know which toy store it would have been from, though.
  3. I know this thread is a zombie, but thought I'd throw my tuppence in. I had the Galaxy Explorer as a kid and both the 2 red and 2 white minifigs had stickers for their torso. I only parted with it 3 or 4 years ago, so it's still fresh in my memory. And yes, I now regret having sold off all my classic space.
