  1. Thank you. It is Dastan's head without stubb Yep, they do Is that why you have them all in your signature image? Any other comments on the funnies?
  2. Here are some new funnies. Hope you like them My Flickr Do you understand the first one?
  3. Two and a half sith. Hahaha! That was really a good one :D
  4. Yes. But the ones he has seems to be painted in "Metallic red". The original Amazing Armory helmet were in dark red, right? It will be very hard to make the helmet look good when there will be a colout difference to the rest of the minifig-parts.
  5. [i forgot to write "MOC" in the catchline, and it seems like I can't edit that... Maybe a moderator can fix that?] In the future in a galaxy far, far away... ...will a Swedish astronaut team climb an unknown planet with dense, exotic vegetation. Because somewhere in the outer space life must exist. This creation was a part in a Lego Space exhibition which took place on Tekniska Museet in Stockholm, Sweden in the beginning of June this year. Facts about the creation: - Appr. 1400 parts - Building time: a couple of weeks (first in LDD) - Size: 38,4 x 38,4 x 28,8 cm I hope you like it! My Flickr My Flickr
  6. Anyone here who owns it and is willing to sell it?
  7. Is this helmet & armor (/the whole figure) still for sale? I can't manage to find it on Amazing Armory's BL-store (seems to no longer exist...) I can't find it at customminifig.co.uk nor firestartoys.com or amazingarmory.com (page seem to be under process)... Thank you for answers...
  8. Quote: The LEGO SUPER HEROES Marvel collection will spotlight three Marvel franchises – Marvel's The Avengers movie, and X-Men and Spider-Man classic characters. LEGO minifigure form: - Iron Man, The Hulk, Captain America, Thor, Hawkeye, Loki and Black Widow - Wolverine, Magneto, Nick Fury and Deadpool - Spider-Man, and Doctor Octopus. The new LEGO DC Universe SUPER HEROES collection will feature 13 iconic super heroes in LEGO minifigure form, including: - Batman™, Robin™, Catwoman™, The Joker, The Riddler™, Two-Face, Poison Ivy, Harley Quinn™, Bane, Bruce Wayne, Superman™, Lex Luthor™ and Wonder Woman™. This is awesome! But, will the Green Lantern minifigure only be released as promo? It is not mentioned among DC:s 13 iconic super heroes...
  9. This is Charlie Sheen's true colour:
  10. Great ones Lord Of The Fries Here's one from me:
  11. This is my Pirates of the Caribbean contest entry. Since I didn't find out about the contest sooner than a little more than a week ago I didn't have time to get all pieces needed. Therefore my entry is in Lego Digital Designer. All parts used does exist in current colour, and I intend to buy all parts needed (that I don't already own) to build the creation irl! I choosed to include "the lines between parts" when I took screenshots from LDD to make it as accurate as possible to real Lego parts. Despite that, it doesn't look that soft and naturally as the real ABS do. Please try to think it is fysical plastic parts anyway And please imagine that the minifigure in the picture has Jack's Sparrows hat and hair, which does not exist in LDD Extended Mode yet... I have chosen to create the (almost) last scene in the second movie where Jack finally confronts Kraken. I tried to make Kraken's gap as accurate as possible to the movie. Beside the moment with all the teeth I had a very difficult time creating the rounded back of Kraken. Enough words, here comes the pics... My Flickr Reference picture: If I win, I'd prefer the Mill.
  12. I would like Lego to make more characters from Episode I-III, and less from Clone Wars. Because of CW we do almost not have any Jedi knights with regular face printings. This summer we got a lot of updated minifigures from Episode I - maybe we can expect that they will continue and release updated Episode II-figures next year?
  13. Where? S@H? Amazon?
  14. The Atlantis theme gives us some useful parts...
  15. A small creation I made this afternoon. Jack Sparrow chased by Cannibals from the second PotC-movie. I just had to create this scene before someone else did (or maybe it's to late already..?) My Flickr (More pictures on my Flickr) Reference picture from the movie:
  16. It would be really cool if they made the Flying Dutchman. Beside Davy Jones I would very much like to see Bootstrap Bill - since he is played by Stellan Skarsgård that would also mean that we'd finally had our first character based on a Swedish actor in Lego
  17. A question to you guys in USA: Is 30132 Jack Sparrow Figure possible to buy in "fysical" Toys R Us-stores or only online? Or do have to pre-order the videogame to get the Promo-figure?
  18. I have lately been watching throught all seasons of the sitcom TV-Show "Two and a half men". Now when the main cast star Charlie Sheen has been fired from the show it will probably not be anymore episodes Therefore I thought it would be nice to immortalize the show by recreating the characters into ABS-plastic (You can also find the photos at my Flickr-page) Scene 1 The classic scene: Two and a half men watching TV together "Alan, you moron..!" Reference pictures: Scene 2 Charlie Harper (or maybe Charlie Sheen? ) in bed together with two babes.
  19. Yes, these prices include sales tax. That's true. How much is sales tax in USA? 15 %? 20 %? Here in Sweden it is 25 %
  20. It's even more expensive here in Sweden. We have to pay: QAR: 1300 SEK (equals 213 USD) Whitecap Bay: 1000 SEK (equals 164 USD) London Escape: 700 SEK (equals 115 USD) Fountain of youth: 300 SEK (equals 49 USD) Captain's Cabin: 150 SEK(equals 25 USD) Isla de muerta: 300 SEK (equals 49 USD) Cannibal escape: 500 SEK (equals 83 USD) The mill: 600 SEK (equals 99 USD) Most of those prices are more than twice the money you have to pay in USA, and some (e.g. Cannibal Escape) does almost cost 3 times as much. Even though the Swedish Krona is very strong for the moment (especially in comparison to US Dollars), I think this is really unfair.
  21. Now it is only less than a month left untill the release of this book. Does anyone have information about which the minifigure will be?!
  22. Thank you all for your comments! You are right, unfortunately the doors are not able to open. However, I have build a new version of the metro where it is possible to open the doors. I will post a thread about that train soon Yes, you are problably right. Maybe a moderator could make that happen? Well, the train isn't really very flexible - maybe it would be possible for the train to enter flexible tracks - but not a corner of regular curves. Interesting. As it is now, I use 1x2 tile with grill in metallic silver - which is a more realistic colour than light bluish gray if you look at the reference pictures (Bricks 1x2 with grill doesn't exist in metallic silver). Another problem, if I used the brick, would be that it would be a small space between the top of the brick and the upper part of the train because of the angle. However I can agree with you that there are morte grills on the brick, which would make it look more realistic...
  23. (I forgot to write "MOC:" in the titel, maybe a moderator can fix that?) I have built creations before, often inspired by science fiction-dramas or adventure films (e.g. Indiana Jones). This is the first time I create something in the theme of town, and this is actually the first train in lego I own This is the Metro of Stockholm (Sweden). At the end of the thread you are able to see reference pictures ('cause I guess that not everyone in here has been in Stockholm ) But, the train need a track and a platform, don't you think? A platform with benches and a trash can. What is a metrostation without lots and lots of people? Hey! Where is the Metro? Oh, it's late! That's unusual "Swoosh!" The train has also an interior: Reference pictures of Stockholm Metro:
  24. Thank you, guys No, it is actually this one. But I removed the beard. It is pretty difficult to find an old man-head without beard in lego...
