Of their 2004 sets, I bought 22 sets when they came out. To really put the icing on the cake(....until the 2005 edition came out) I got my hands on the LAST Maersk from Lego(separate order/separate invoice). To me that means a lot. I love ships and ship building. The viking/Maersk integration is excellent! Jer

Yeah, I have an ISD that I've never seen. Still in the box it was shipped to the Imagination center in. I havent opened it to see if there is an ISD in there.....could be a box of rocks. Jer

I won the London Bus 760 and yes it will get put in the glass case with the rest of them. It's a very cool blast from the past. It's hard to come by one that is sealed in the box. I think it was a deal at $305. My high bid was $455. I'd love to see what else Lego has tucked away that they want to part with. Jer

Ok, my first pleasant suprise off ebay....... Won an auction for 25 pounds of Legos for $55., and it winds up that she made a mistake...oopppsss, it was actually 55 pounds of Legos.....(just pay the extra shipping).....there is a god. I've been sorting through them for three days now. There are so many more sets I haven't identified yet. This was definately one of the best deals I've gotten. argg.......wow........no.....I mean..........WOW. Holy COW!!! I'm just a little bit stunned by the price. WOW Wheewwww........ I'm glad I have one for the cityscape(with Spiderman swinging from it) and one in a sealed box. WOW.......... Jer

Correct me if I'm wrong............but I think you guys are the lucky ones. I don't think they are releasing the viking sets here in the US. I live about 2 hours south of the Chicago Imagination center, and in the past, the people are very helpful. I usually spend a thousand to fifteen hundred there three times a year getting the sets that seriously collect so they dont have price stickers and stuff on them. There are usually some good deals. I like the PAB stuff too. Jer

I'm sure one day the ships will increase in value. One disadvatage with that set was that it was never put in a catalog. If more people knew it exists, there would be greater demand. When I was trying to unload some of them(I originally had 35) everyone was asking if it was an original creation or a real Lego set. It is a pretty cool set to display, and I am a big ship fan. I'll hold onto these and see where it goes. It's funny, I looked at recent auctions for 7190's and they are selling for as little as $75ish but still sealed seem to average $150. Jer P.S. OK, ok, ok.......... This feels like an AA meeting. It's been 5 days since I built my last Lego. Now, Is the Brickmaster Certificate an honor or can it be turned into a cone like a dunce cap???? I truely thought it would be more interesting than it is. My gf got it for me as a Christmas gift, so I have no one to blame but myself. If they spent HALF as much on making a few unique sets as they did advertising this lame project, you'd see some enthusiasm for it. It seems like most of the Lego groups Ideas are very superficial. It might impress a 6 or 7 year old, but I think it has much to be desired. Recon

OK........... I put 20 some of these ships away for my kids college fund..........now the bottom falls out. Just my luck. Funny, a large corperation approached me just before Christmas with an offer to buy all of them, should have jumped on it. And yes, they were available in the USA where I am. Recon
