  1. I'll be more specific with my question. When a .lxf set is downloaded to a Hardrive, like this set here, http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=41226&st=0&p=728282entry728282 The AT-AT, How does one get these parts? This is a specific 'set'. What I want to do is add the parts that construct the AT-AT? I would assume that there's a way to access these parts that make up the model. If these parts aren't available, how was the model built? I can only assume, the only other answers are that these parts are extra parts that are available in universe mode, and/or that there are designed in a 3d modeling program? All these questions come from the fact that 'Being that im new to LDD' I have no idea what parts are actually available in LDD. I think i understand now, what I originally thought was that, there was a way to create 'with a 3d modeling program' your own parts. Your saying however that this is not possible, these parts are available in universe mode. Is that correct?
  2. I see that that people are posting .lxf sets. http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=41226 Is there a way to actually 'access' the parts for a MOC? :Edit: Just read, "LDD don't include sets, but contains various creations as example or as a "base". What does this mean?
  3. Well I'll do my best. I'll certainly pay attention to how I type.
  4. Is there a online place that i can check my punctuation before i post?
  5. im finding all these lego plans, but ldd doesn't have the parts. what are the names or lego themes that ldd includes? surely there must be a list of the included set with ldd? k i will do that.
  6. hi. i only recently found out about ldd, though i do remember many (NOT lost)hours building with legos. as a boy i was always building with some sort of construction toy. legos were my favorite. MAN! my grandma was really talented with legos, she was the one who introduced me to them. so now im back. tbh i don't know what ill think of virtual lego building, but that's why im here, to try it :)
  7. heres the thing though, the reason why i asked about 'building plans' is not because im a moron, but because im not sure which bricks ldd supports. it would sucks if i started a model and then found out i didnt have the needed bricks. would you not agree :p? so how do i know what building plans to look for?
  8. your correct i type horribly. i am 30 years old though.(i know because i see myself in the mirror everyday :) i will look around in the index. that response however doesn't make me feel very welcome here. im not exactly sure i did anything wrong, other then ask what you deem to be a pointless question. but i will read the faq as obviously i didn't. however you should expect basic questions from a new user.
  9. i used to love legos as a kid, and now i just found out about ldd. so as you may have all guessed, i have some questions. is ldd a decent program? what do you like and dislike about ldd? i admit, i never really learned how to truly build with legos, (not on a modelers skill level anyway) so im wondering, if there's a place to find free building plans for me to create what normally i could not. is ldd expandable? thanx to lego for creating ldd.
