  1. Talking about location sets and original IPs I would love to see something like the grocery store from spider-verse but with proper treatment like buildings in the monkey kid (sets 80011 & 80012). For me NY is like a character in Marvel and I'd love to get small but substantial buildings alongside heroes. Probably this is why I'm going crazy with this overpriced spider-verse set.
  2. I noticed technic pin holes on the sides of the building form Spiderverse set for expansions that we will never get. Why do they do that :D it's cool that another themes received proper treatment. The worst thing about marvel is that it cost the heck of money but we have been getting nothing but cutting corners. I wouldn't trust the AMBASADOR network
  3. I hate this current iteration. It doesn't look right. But this bionicle style like they did with Star Wars, those were pretty cool. I liked them. I know that Marvel and DC have it too but, God, these were ugly someone should do it in the Hidden Side style. The Hidden Side has a building which changes into a monster haha
  4. I don't think we would get the Oscorp. It hasn't been shown in any Disney's movie or tv series. Baxter Building after the movie release would be my guess. This year only DC Arkham.
  5. I really like the Iron Man figure from the sign set. Is it going to be in the new Hall of armor? I don't want to have to get it from bricklink. It would be so expensive.
  6. I like these obscure cars as well as the new IM one. They remind my of Marvel/SW Hot Wheels cars which I like and built few.
  7. exactly and black hair makes it even worse. I don't care that much about accuracy tbh, this is just a poor design.
  8. yeah, there has been always that one or two minifigs that are cool but it's hard to justify paying that kind of money for that one reason. idk just make more cheep sets or try do better LEGO. it cannot be how it is now.
  9. I don't get what they trying to achieve with this line. these are to expensive to be playsets but also too poor and inaccurate to be collector items. like they are trying both at the same time and fail miserably
  10. they are pretty consistent in disappointing us with marvel waves
  11. oh they forgot that they are using rubber capes now. thor in the sign set has a fabric one
  12. I really don't like this display/playset thing they has been doing for some time. too many parts go into building ground levels, terrain, etc and they end up with weirdly small quinjet...
  13. I had started loving LEGO Marvel again then I saw these sets... The only one I really like it the one from Spiderverse but gosh this price... Bucky and IM from the civil war set feels like so much downgrade from what we had before cap and IM from sign set are really cool but I'm not gonna pay 100 bucks for marvel written with lego
  14. the hall of armor without any new (iron man) suit would be the new low for the marvel theme
  15. green goblin feels a little bit too childish too me and lack of the printed legs makes it worse. Maybe with the purple hood would be better
  16. i don't get it why lego complicates things all the time. same people want a batcave, some want an art sets, display pieces for living room like a giant batman symbol. but is there anyone who wants both in one? I don't think so. Lego designed something which is overpriced for both kind of people...
  17. generally it feels like lego is cutting corners in marvel line almost all the time. they could do it right but they cannot execute well their own ideas. like they have been always cutting costs for this line. it's just sad
  18. i think it (lego buildable figures) could work if they would design more specialized pieces. These ball joints are too weak, construction with regular lego techniques are fragile. One specialized piece for face is too little (and actually doesn't work for most figures and is ugly). I liked ultrabuild figures system much more. I wish we had marvels figures with quality of the star wars ultrabuild figures.
  19. I think LEGO is keeping forgetting it recently giving us a 18+ crap in big quantities instead of good toys and fun playsets
  20. why I should ditch? I'm more modder/mocer than collector. I don't buy sets for reason of owning them. If I can use set I buy it, when I don't need it I just buy minifigs if i want them. LEGO is about creativity not collecting. you make yourself mad at LEGO by your own choice. buy bricks - build your own dream set
  21. 600 is too much for LEGO... price is one problem but second one is size. I didn't buy Daily Bugle, only bricklinked some figures and parts of it (stickers, newspaper stand, cab) and build my own version, because I don't have space for something that huge. I cannot even imagine something bigger. In my opinion it is bad direction. It reduce a number of people who can buy it significantly
  22. looks like something from ninjago xd
  23. I bought the quinjet and I really don't know what to think about it. It's good don't get me wrong but is this that good? There is a lots of cutting corners and budget cuts. overall it's good but I expected more
