Yeah the Slave 1 similarity is hard to escape, but I think it has enough differences, too. You know, this is gonna sound like I'm lying, but the stability is surprisingly good. The whole time it was under construction and I wasn't work on it, I would stand it up like that and it didn't fall over once. Nor during the taking of the photos. Yeah, great use of old parts. No one has seemed to mention the great use of the magnetic housing piece, at the front. Especially getting the lever stems to attach to it. Inspired!
