Could someone kindly assist with obtaining the parts required to add coal to the top of the rechargeable battery pack? Which is the cheapest site? If someone has already done it which parts shall I order? Thanks in advance. ** All sorted **

Thanks so much guys. I replaced the bands on the large wheels and my Emerald is working much better. I now need to fix the issue where the loose wheels front and back sometimes make it derail. I would also like to know what extra bricks people have used to add the coal effect to the top of the coal tender to hide rechargeable battery pack? Thanks

Thanks Gioppa I will check those pictures out before I order some spare parts.

The Emerald Night looses grip in many places. I have made sure the bands are tight. The wheels move fine when lifted off the track. I removed the rod from drivers to the cylinder. Could you please let me know how I can give the loco more flexibility over bumps? I am testing it with just the coal tender. I would really love to get my Emerald Night working nicely. Thanks in advance.

Hello, I have a few rechargeable battery packs and for some reason the power function lights do not work when plugged directly into battery pack. I have tried 2 different battery packs and also about 3-4 lights and non work. Does anyone have any idea what I am doing wrong? Im really confused and getting frustrated. Thanks

Hello, I recently picked up an Emerald Night and have built it but am having some issues. The train does not grip to the track even with the 4 red bands on. I have fitted a XL motor to the train. I tried by removing 2 bands but that didn't change anything. Hoping someone can give me a suggestion on how to fix this. Thanks

TheLegoNewbie replied to TheLegoNewbie's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Thanks zephyr I might give it a go when I get time. -
Hello, I own the following trains 60051,7938 + 60052 and have just bought rechargeable battery packs for all. I have noticed that when I insert the rechargeable battery packs into the engine that the hole at the top for the power light can now not be seen. Just wondering if there were any guides where I can change the trains so that I can see the power lights? Thanks in advance. Cheers

Ok thanks. I have the rechargeable battery pack so maybe its lighter. Thanks for your help so far guys.

Hello, I have recently put together a 60052 train and am having issues with the train wheels not gripping properly. The wheels do have the little rubber bands on them but the train still seems to slip. Can anyone please suggest how I can fix this issue? Cheers

Im going to try to use Energizer AAA today and see how I go as I think it has very low power. Can someone please also explain the functions of the remote the one with 2 orange circles? I understand you set the channel for the train but when I turn he circle many times it does nothing. No rubber wheels. Just plastic.

I can hear a squell coming from the engine and if I lift it the wheels will move. Its like its got no power to move it. Can someone please assist. Thanks
