I agree with most, at first I thought that this post was a joke! Then, after seeing the HK images, I must admit---they are kinda cute! I hadn't heard anything about these before as a new Lego line, so naturally I thought it was all a hoax. Then after researching it a little I found a similar post on The Brothers Brick site as well--posted a year ago tomorrow! Who knew! This is exciting news for the little girls out there too! Big Bloxx gives more pink pieces...YAY!!!

I know you've read this a million times already but...WOW!! I am extremely impressed and you've inspired me to build one as well! You have some really great architectural details that I would love to incorporate into my own MOC. I, having never been to either airport that you based some of your design from, think it is really cool to see such detail! I can't wait to see what you build next! I also love Bill & Mary's story, it was very entertaining! Signed, extremely jealous

I have to say when I first saw the rumored list of the series 3 minifigs, I was all too excited for the elf, only to be slightly disappointed! Only because I was thinking it would be more along the lines of "santa's helper" type elf. Or as Peppermint_M put it "he could be wearing a smurf hat and have a candy cane" was exactly what I was hoping for! Maybe Lego will incorporate that minifig in the Holiday Themed sets. Although, on the other hand I think TLG did a great job with the elf from the fantasy stand point. I definitely can foresee that the elf has the army build possibility. I personally think my favorites are the "sports" themed ones of this series and possibly the gorilla, if "filled-out" more. I think the only one I may want several of is the baseball player, to build a team!

These are so well made that I actually thought it was a new "set" or series coming out! I was all excited! I love your idea, they are " a really cool toy, in fact they're too cool!" LOL My kids are in disagreement, they like Buzz and Zurg! I love 'em all!

Thanks so much for the review! I knew I wanted this one before I even knew that it was going to be sold in the US, but after seeing all the minifigs and extras, this is a MUST GET for sure! Off to my local Lego Store!!

Now that some have secured their Series 2 minifigs, as well as I have, I am all too excited for the next series and can not wait! The elf and the gorilla sound the most exciting to me, but that won't stop me from collecting them all! My husband would absolutely love the fisherman, even though he's not much of a Lego fan...gasp...I know! I'm a big enough fan for the both of us!

I agree and I personally love minifigures, and I think the popularity has always been there for them, but only recently has Lego made them available outside of a "set" thus making them seemingly more popular! I think there wasn't as much demand in years past, circa late 80's early 90's because most minifigs were repeated throughout several sets. Most males had the classic face, the sunglasses head, or the "waiter" mustache. Female minifigs had only one head but 3 different hair colors in 1 style. As Lego's themed sets expanded, so did the minifig selection! I feel that a great Lego set can be made, but it is the minifigs that bring it to "life" or add that "action" factor to it!

I hadn't heard about the "egyptian" theme, but that sounds cool too! Maybe a cleopatra, servants, pyramids.....that's exciting!!!

My thoughts and hopes for Lego 2011 are: There will be a Disney "Cars" theme in Lego and not just Duplo I would love to see a cargo harbor, civilian harbor, yacht, bank(maybe modular?), post office, supermarket Farm theme--sheep grazing land, horse stables Exclusive: City Square, would be kinda cool, but they did just put out the Town Plan recently Toy Story 1-3---It's a good possibility for a few more sets, maybe a Mr. Potato Head or Slinky Dog character, if they can get the licensing! Prince of Persia-- will be discontinued Pirates of the Caribbean--- I am super excited for this one, but have heard from a Lego employee that the sets and possibly the video game will be based solely on the 4th movie! Darn, NO Black Pearl or Flying Dutchmen, would've loved to see those! NinjaGo--maybe some type of Ninja Lego Game, like the other Lego Games but more "collectible" like Pokemon or Bakugan Collectable Minifigures Series 3 and 4--Is a given, but harder to collect "all" due to no barcodes

Absolutely love this modular MOC! It has inspired me to make one of my own, with my own spin of course! The whole street setup looks great as well!

I second this idea of a mountain bike, it too, could come in several colors as do the current line of bicycles!
