Greetings to all. Been awhile since I've posted and even longer since I've sold something on Eurobricks so please pardon the rust. Long story short, looking to sell off my collection to pursue other hobbies (traveling, jumping out of airplanes, child rearing, etc.). Figured I'd start with the last purchase I made, the 4643 Power Boat Transporter. My interest in Lego was already waning when I made this purchase and thus it was opened, built, and immediately placed in the closet where it has sat until I took it out to take this photo. Instructions and sticker sheet included. There are two stickers missing from the sheet (two license plate stickers) which are where they belong on the toy itself (one on the the truck, the other on the trailer). Minifgures and minifigure accessories (helmets, life jackets, and coffee mug) included. I know someone will ask so I'll go ahead and answer NON-SMOKING HOUSE. More info about this set here: http://lego.wikia.com/wiki/4643_Power_Boat_Transporter Important stuff -Original retail price was $39.99 USD and I am looking for $20 paid via PayPal (for your convenience and peace of mind!) -I only ship to continental U.S.A. (for MY convenience) -BUYER WILL PAY SHIPPING. PM me with your location and we will discuss shipping options BEFORE payment to be sure you get the shipping options you want and the price is fair (not here to make a profit from overcharging on shipping). -Willing to pay $25, $30, or even $1.7 million for this amazing set? Feel free to 'outbid' each other. Hooray for capitalism! Questions? Post 'em here! Or PM me. Whatevs.

A Bazaar place has come to EB
Ignited_Impulse replied to Siegfried's topic in Forum Information and Help
So, any way I could get around needing 100 posts to be able to start a new topic in the Bazaar? Haven't been active around here for a long time due to the fact I haven't really been in to Lego lately. That being said I'm looking to sell off most, if not all, of my (small) collection and vanish in to dark age obscurity. Figured I'd see if anyone was interested on Eurobricks before throwing them up on eBay. Done a few sales and trades before on here if that means anything. -
It's a real shame it'll only be on the WiiU as I have no intention of purchasing one. Other than that games looks fun. I'd love to see this as a set though... http://images3.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20120613061712/lego/images/f/f7/WiiU_LegoCityU_1_scrn02_E3.jpg

I just wanna thank everyone who has already replied and encourage those who haven't to please share! I won't include my own info in my paper but I'll go ahead and share too. Age: 25 Age you started building: As far back as I can remember. 3 or 4? Country: USA Occupation: Currently holding down 3 part time jobs in various fields as well as being a college student Married: No Children: Yes Does your spouse or child/children build: No Do you have close friends who build: No Do you build together with your friends: N/A Do you regularly attend Lego conventions: None in the area How much money do you spend on Lego product a year: $50? Must pick and choose wisely. Baby comes first. How much time do you spend building/playing a day: Almost none sadly Favored theme/themes: City and various action themes Do you primarily collect retail sets, build MOCs, or both?: Retail sets Did you experience a "dark age": Yes If yes, what age did you enter your "dark age": 13 or 14 What age did you exit your "dark age": Still built about one set a year but didn't subscribe to being an AFOL until about a year and a half ago. Other hobbies (other toy collecting, sports, drawing etc.): As with Lego the extent and frequency of which I get to do my other hobbies varies but I console game (Xbox and PS3), fire dance, slackline, practice martial arts, and watch martial arts films. In your own words what makes Lego bricks so special: Lego is hard to describe. It has a nostalgic value that fills me with a sense of wonder and imagination where anything is possible. Spacemen on a pirate ship? Knights storming a castle with a city crane? The scope of adventure is limited only by your imagination. May I PM you with a request for a personal interview: N/A

Hey guys, could really use some help here. I'm doing an ethnographic research paper on the AFOL subculture and would really appreciate if you all could answer some general questions. If you don't want to answer a particular question feel free to leave it blank. Also if anyone is in the Tampa, Fl region or will be coming down sometime soon for the Legoland opening and wouldn't mind me conducting a personal interview please PM me. Loving the Fire plan and lift chopper. I was really hoping the police would look more like rangers with dark green uniforms. Shame. Maybe the final product will reflect that...hopefully. Only one I might buy is the dirt bike transport though. World Racers wasn't really my bag and I'm missing the ol' Octan racing sets. The roadster in the K9 police set only makes me want to see more of the same.

Huge Jurassic Park fan and seeing as how I missed out on Dino Attack I'm pretty excited for these sets even if I don't particularly like the vehicle design or color scheme.

Legoland Florida Interviews
Ignited_Impulse replied to Ignited_Impulse's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Normally I'd say anything but Florida is nice but I don't think I'd want to be in GA either. Have family there and it's where my Dad grew up so I've been on several occassions. Any state that can get hotter than Florida is someplace I'd prefer not to be :P -

Oh I didn't have many illusions about it but the company certainly does. It thinks very highly of itself. -
Legoland Florida Interviews

I live only about 40 minutes away. It would be a pay cut for me as well but I'm looking for something more flexible to allow me to finish college. Not to mention I kinda hate my current job (The House of Mouse is not built on magic and dreams, but rather despair and misery). Even if I'm offered the job not sure I'll take it but anything is possible. -
Just got an email from Legoland Florida for setting up an interview time. Anyone else on here apply or going to interview?

TLG looking for good storytellers!
Ignited_Impulse replied to CopMike's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Damn, if only I'd been writing the untold stories in my brain like I told myself I would years ago. Oh well, someone write about T-rex riding samurai cowboys who fight space ninjas and we'll be in good shape. -
Does it come with a private sector spacecraft for my NASA minifigures to use?
