Hey Guys I've made a mod of the Tower of Orthanc (10237) in LDD. I've ordered all the bricks needed now, so I could start building the new tower soon (3'650 bricks now ). If I create a building guide, it starts with the top of the tower, which is pretty useless. Is there a tutorial on making useable building guides out of LDD? or maybe an addictional software. hey guys this is the LDD file of what I've got so far http://www78.zippyshare.com/v/58352456/file.html there's a lot of bricks on the floor... to one side all these, I've used which don't come with the set. to the other side the bricks which are left. It's not done yet, so maybe you guys can make it better. Thanks missing brick! =) Vortex

really cool! =) For me it was nescessary, because the 10237 is the only set i own beside some of the architecture-series. So I have to know, which bricks I have... I saw your creation and that blew me away. the idea with the stairs is just awesome! So I've used your pictures as a guide to rebuild it. these bricks (picture) are new to the set, am I right? Can you buy it as a single brick somewhere?

As soon as possible I'll upload pics or / and the LDD-file (I'm at work now)... BTW: I've copied all the parts needed beside the tower, so it's easy to make a list of the bricks you'll need to buy. maybe I'll change a few things (it would also be nice, if the tower gains a bit of addictional height)

Hey Guys I've made my own modification (backwall) for the tower of orthanc. I've used the pictures from the one, user Missing Brick made about a year ago. I've created the whole tower in digital designer. If somebody is interested, I can share it with you :) also: has somebody else made this in ldd? Cheers Vortex
