  1. Alright guys, I've uploaded about forty photos of all of the other sets. I apologize for the less than perfect lighting situation; my camera was acting up. Also, if there's something that anyone wants me to recapture, I'll take requests here. :) Overall, I think that the Hobbit line is pretty much complete, and I enjoyed it while it lasted. My only complaints are a repeat of the Mirkwood Legolas, lack of a Bolg fig, and an apparent lackluster effort in this final wave's buildings. Thank you TLG! If any of these reviews are not allowed, please someone tell me and I'll take them down ASAP.
  2. I just uploaded a few pics. I will try to get more if you want them, other than that, I'll post the other sets' pictures in about 12 hours.
  3. Yes he does. I'll post a pic of it when I upload in about ten minutes. The face has a somewhat scared expression on one side, and the other is very angry and heavily burned/battle damaged.
  4. In words or pictures? I'll add some pics to my Flickr momentarily. https://www.flickr.com/photos/125956731@N06/with/14824820076/
  5. Eastern Michigan
  6. I got all 4 sets. Am in the process of building. You can ask questions about them or ask for pics of certain things. I'll try to get some good reviewing done within the next 24 hours.
  7. My brother was just at my local TRU and claims to have seen all 4 sets there. I'm heading back there in 5 hours to pick up whichever ones they have. I know they have Laketown and BoFA, unsure about the others. I'll post reviews of all of them unless prohibited somewhere. Wish me luck!
  8. It might just be the SDCC/ Bo5A Bard again...
  9. I was literally about to say that Dain's face is most likely Gloin's... Not very impressed with TLG's decision with that, but I guess that I can't complain all that much because we don't have a true image of Dain yet. And just confirming, Bard is the exact same as SDCC (I compared mine to the photos and don't see anything different). Also, new Orc face!!! :) Thank you Carlos!
  10. I was comparing the pics that we got of Gwaihir to one of my eagles and they look exactly the same. I did the same thing with Bard, and everything looks the same there too.., I was hoping for a battle damaged face on Bard in BoFA, but oh well
  11. Are you only getting Bo5A? Thanks in advance for the details!
  12. Oh, I didn't know that that was released in October.. Haha I probably look really dumb. Now knowing that I can see why they chose winter over Hobbit for the S@H. That's not saying I'm happy about the decision, but it's more reasonable for them to promote their annual winter village..
  13. What I don't understand is why it is a SKATING SCENE in OCTOBER.....? If not Hobbit related, something related to Halloween seems more fitting S@H for that month, does it not?
  14. It'll be posted momentarily on my flickr.
  15. I'll put it up on my flickr. Here's a link to my page: https://www.flickr.com/photos/125956731@N06/with/14824820076/
  16. If anyone wants pics or anything of the Comic-Con Bard for any reason, I have him and can post pictures of him.
  17. For the third time, I was talking about the DLC pack, not actual sets. I am fairly confident that we will only get the five that you mentioned in physical form, but I'd expect all 13 to be redone in the DLC.
  18. We were taking about the DLC pack for the game...? Even in the DLC pack? It'd be somewhat ridiculous if the remaining 8 used their Laketown armor in the battle, as some actual Laketown soldiers will most likely be wearing that same armor. Maybe some generic iron hills dwarf armor, but either way, I'm going to keep hoping and believing that there will be a redo of all of the dwarves in the DLC.
  19. They'd only have 8 dwarves maximum to redesign (they already have Balin, Dwalin, Fili, Kili, and Thorin done), so I think the chances are good that we will get new designs.
  20. Agreed, but I wouldn't be incredibly opposed to people using decals from Lego games, as those are designed by TLG as well. On the other hand, I dislike anything entirely custom.
  21. In a way, lego not releasing the figure in the physical world isn't an issue if you print decals. But yes, another problem with our disappointingly sized last Hobbit wave is that when you get one character, you eliminate another.. Maybe some people could do another Hobbit set on Lego Ideas (I think that's what it's called...?) to try to get us some missing figs or a UCS set... I'm pretty sure that it wouldn't happen, but I think it could be worth a try...?
  22. Yes, that's what I was thinking and hoping. I still wanted to include it here just because it was interesting.
  23. As has been pointed out already, we got a glimpse of their armored Fili and Kili variations in the 3ds Lego Hobbit Videogame. I decided to look for any further possible foreshadowings in the game. I found that the Blue Bilbo Variation we will get in The Lonely Mountain is in the game rather than the cheaper remake we saw in the PC version of the game. Also, Bolg's depiction changed considerably in this game variant. I took some screenshots. https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5587/14661091467_0ef477cf7f_s.jpg https://farm4.staticflickr.com/3914/14867498623_6a856796ca_s.jpg https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5572/14660935390_7a012cac0d_s.jpg In the Laketown Armory, the dwarves have their movie-accurate River Scene clothing. I'm fairly confident that none of these could be in a future set, but it was still cool to see. https://farm4.staticflickr.com/3886/14847549432_be78b4a568_s.jpg Narzug had a different appearance in the cutscenes. I know that he appears with a different variation in trailers for the PC version, but it appears that TLG forgot to change Narzug's decals for the 3ds variant. We won't be seeing him in a set due to his death in DoS, but nevertheless, this was interesting to see. I'm not sure why this print was not used in the PC. Here's a photo. https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5585/14824820076_a99c26176c_s.jpg (I am also aware that there was an Armored Thorin in the 3ds, which we should get in BOFA set, but that was already discussed in this forum.) I didn't look over the entire game, so there may be many more that I didn't get to finding. If the photos in this post are defective, I have uploaded them to my Flickr, so you can see them here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/125956731@N06/with/14824820076/
  24. I think that sand and dark green colors work for erebor, but olive green looks really good IMO. I know there is an extremely small range of pieces in that color, but..
  25. The mines were rocky, and we know that the rocky area in the set is meant to be mines because of the gold crystals in the rock and the elevated bucket thing to transport the mined loot. Also, they did give us two columns and a staircase. However, I agree with you in your claim that TLG didn't do a spectacular job of depicting the halls of Erebor. A dwarf statue would've been nice as well. The thing that I'm most shocked by is the exclusion of a decent gold hoard, as the set doesn't include very many gold studs or coin pieces.
