Here's my version with roof slopes for ears and a little added height for the character. http://minibricksmadness.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2012/07/batman_klt-e1343451127514-225x300.jpg (I'm not sure how I've used up my limit for posting images here, so I had to post a link to the picture)

Terrific job! Can I replicate your idea for BrickFair (DC) this coming month? I think the only alteration I would make is to use roof slopes for the bat-ears! Great job! Karyn

Thanks... that's a good start. Perhaps others will be able to identify others.

Hi everyone, I received some printed Modulex tiles in a batch of bricks from Europe and I am having trouble figuring out what the abbreviations are for. They might be German or Danish. I don't think they are person's initials, because there are several of each abbreviation (like it was in a set). They look like the letters were printed on, not by the end user. I'm attaching photos. Anyone have any ideas? I was trying to think of countries, currencies, or some other kind of abbreviation. Thoughts? Thanks! Karyn Photo 2 Photo 3

So, by the time I saw this post, the photo was already taken down :( Did you buy everything PolishGuy or is there still a chance to pick up some pieces? Either way, I'd love to see a photo of what he had. PS - I posted a pic of my Modulex mosaic of the Doors of Durin on my MOCpages account. Here's a link: Modulex Doors of Durin Karyn -
SpiderSpaceman, I had a friend in Japan help me out. I ordered via Amazon.co.jp and had them ship it to my friend in Japan, then my friend sent it to me in the US.

Can you tell us more about your dissertation-type project? Would love to hear more.

I know what you mean about parting with Lego... and especially Modulex. I guess I thought I saw somewhere on your profile that you were interested in trading/acquiring more Modulex. Must have been someone else :) And, I think this makes #10 for me, so hopefully now the messaging will kick in! What is your next Modulex project? Karyn

It looks to me like you have both some Mx Ochre and some Mx lemon (or maybe light yellow) yellow bricks. I'd like to get a few more of the ochre. What would you like to trade for? Is there a way to message/email? Karyn

Terrific job on the castle! You certainly do have a large collection of Modulex to be able to make this MOC! I like the trees and the detail you put into the baseplate. What color do you own the most of? What is next in your imagination? I am planning on coming to Brickworld next year, so I hope we will meet up! Karyn

Wow, thanks Fred! Those links do work. Very helpful! I agree that I want the fan to 1)protrude less, 2)be a more subtler color, 3) not draw the eye away from the rest of the MOC. Now... another question. How often to people take a MOC to more than one convention? I feel like I shouldn't take the same things, but maybe if I rework it enough, I could take it again. Thoughts? Thanks, Fred, for your comments. I would love some suggestions for different propellers to use. I don't have any other propellers in my own collection, but if I knew what set to look for, I might be able to replace the red one. Since I want to expand and add to this MOC, if you know of something specific to suggest, please tell me! Karyn

Hi Polish Guy! I was hoping you would add a comment. I think your Modulex MOCs are terrific. I agree with you that the red in the fan was too jarring. I will keep looking for something that fits the color scheme better. I do have quite a bit of Modulex. I am especially fortunate to have so many different windows and roof elements. Someone who was at BrickFair posted a good closeup of the Greenhouse on the Flickr group. Here you can see more detail. (I can also see that the table was bumped a bit and my MOC needs a little tuneup!)
