There is no way they are fake. We have some pieces in new colors we haven't had before and a new wind screen. They could be prelim though!

Also, I doubt we will have much of an interior to speak of. I am thinking the inside is taken up with the super structure of the whole craft. I can't believe they built a stand for this thing-it must weigh a lot.

I wonder how big that wind screen is comparably to the old windscreen. Could mean some amazing system Slave 1/Jango Fett Slave 1 reboots soon. No one can never have TOO many Slave 1's.

I do have to say-I am extremely happy with it except for the coloring. I was really hoping lego would get the coloring a little better from last time. I feel the bottom portion should have some sand red in it. All the same I will be buying it but most likely modding it out after I do. I like some of my UCS Slave 1 techniques a little better and might redo it. I love seeing what TLG does though.

That is a new mold for the canopy! Looks awesome. There are some things I would change. I see they took a similar approach to the UCS Slave 1 I built.

The cowling on the sides-the green rounded areas around the fins. In the mini fig scale they used those newer quarter rounded slopes. So I am curious how they can achieve this on a larger scale. Not to mention the bottom brown half. All that smooth sloping. Must be a genious designer.

It seems like TLG would have the rights if it is still under Universal. Makes sense anyways.

Rogue Angel-Thats because we are all to busy speculating about the future!! Haha but yes it is true it is a good calendar. I plan on picking it up at some point for the figs.

If they are going back to AOTC it would be nice to get a new Jango Fett Slave 1! Maybe Summer wave. Can never have too many Slave 1s!

While that is pretty cool looking, it is more of a display model. In-fact I would love to own something like that for display. However, to market to playability towards kids I am sure they want something more sturdy that can be handled a lot.

They won't do brick built dinos-that would be terrible. Especially since they have such beautiful molded dinos already!

When does Lego usually announce their fall assortment?

I am betting those new 4x8 slope plates will appear on the new Slave 1. They would fit nicely on the sides to create some nice curves.

I noticed that Slave 1 at one point too but it looks like the old one. That, and I am sure other people would have noticed it by now and posted it to kingdom come. In other news I saw they revealed a new Wookie Rebels set for 2015. Which disappoints me that it wasn't the Slave 1 but also reassures me that I might not have to wait until 2015 for the Slave 1. That is because Lego announced they were revealing a new 2015 set at SDCC-which some speculated was the Slave 1. The sooner the better. I hope we get a reveal soon.

I hope the Slave 1 will be a different color than dark red. I don't feel that color is very accurate for the model. Guess we will find out soon! (Hopefully)
